Alexx walked back to the throne room. There he saw the two princesses and Twilight Sparkle. They were all looking at him. "I guess you heard that huh?" He questioned. "Heard you? Of course we could hear thee. Your voice sent a chill down our spines." Luna said with a curious grin. "So you have one year before the Kaggath? What are we going to do until then?" Twilight asked. Alexx walked closer to the three. "Before Shanos died he told me there was a third here in Equestria. He also could be disguised as anypony." Celestia's eyes widened in horror. "Anypony? There are millions of ponies in Equestria. You won't be able to find him." Celestia commented. "Well then I will just have to find him the way I know how. With the force."
Alexx sat on his rear, meditating. He began to call upon the force and with it, a giant image of Equestria appeared in his mind. There he could see and feel all of the life in Equestria. The plants, the animals and everypony. Time to find the odd one out. He thought. He was searching through the force for hours. Celestia was right, there are millions of ponies here. But he is here, one can he be? I must dig deeper. He pulled more energy from the force, then, a slight tug in another direction. What is this? He wondered. Following the lead, he found the source of the great energy. This is the sith all right. He thought with a big grin. "Somepony bring me a map and a quill please." Alexx requested. A guard set down a map of Equestria and a quill in front of Alexx and walked away.
He took the quill in his mouth and marked where he felt the strong power source. "PONYVILLE?!" The three asked in horror. "That is where I felt him. Whoever he is, he is disguised as one of the ponies there." Alexx pointed out. "Our friends are in danger we must leave immediately before anypony gets hurt." Twilight Sparkle said in fear. "Right let's go." Alexx said. As they ran through the throne room Celestia shouted "WAIT!!"
They both nearly fell over from the sudden stop. "What is it Celestia? We need to get going before my friends or anypony else gets hurt." Twilight said. "Alexx come here." Alexx walked back to Celestia. "Please kneel down." He kneeled down and Princess Celestia knelt over and placed her horn on his shoulder. "I dub thee, Alexx, as a knight of the royal guard." Twilight was in shock. Not just anypony got to be in the royal guard. "What is the reason for this your majesty?" Twilight asked. "He is going to need the same perks of a royal guardsmen, if he is too search all of the houses down there." Celestia replied. She sent magic through her horn and a blue star appeared on Alexx's chest.
"You now can search and question anypony in Ponyville, simply flash your badge." Celestia said. "It is an honor Princess." Alexx said gratefully. Celestia nodded. "Now go, in the name of Equestria, and defeat this sith!" She ordered. And like that Twilight Sparkle and Alexx, now a knight of the royal guard, galloped out of the castle, out of Canterlot, and towards Ponyville. As they ran Alexx said "Twilight once we get to Ponyville I need you to take Applejack, Rainbowdash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie, Spike and yourself and hide in your library. I do not want any of you to get hurt." "Right I will put up a shield around it so only the ones I want in can get in." Twilight said. "You read my mind Twilight." Alexx replied with a grin.
As they neared Sugarcube Corner, Twilight and Alexx split up. She went to find their friends, while he went to search for the sith. He found a secluded area and sat down. He began meditating once more and found an image of Ponyville in his mind. The sith indeed was in Ponyville. Ugh. This power is too overwhelming. I can't single him out. Alexx realized in anger. He had no time to waste. He began at one end of Ponyville and searched the entire area. I can't find him. I better go check on Twilight and the others I guess.
He made his way towards the library. There was a ward protecting it. A small hole opened up and he walked through it. Opening the door he found them all sitting around a table. They all waved to him "Hey Alexx. It is super great to see you again. Here I brought you a cider." Pinkie said with delight. "Thanks Pinkie." He drank the delicious concoction. It was quite refreshing after all the hours he spent searching. Applejack then slapped him on the back. "I haven't seen you this thirsty since the end of your first day applebucking." She said with a grin. Alexx smiled back.
"Twilight told us everything, did you find any leads around Ponyville?" Asked a concerned Fluttershy in a soft voice. Alexx shook his head his head in shame. "He could be anypony throughout Ponyville. He disguised himself extremely well." Said Alexx. "Well I am sure you will find him. Why don't you use that shout of yours to challenge him, the way you did with Shadio?" Asked Rainbow Dash "That was completely cool how you did that." She said with a big smile. "You heard that all the way from here?" Alexx said. I guess I overdid it a bit. He thought. "Alexx it is great to see you again, w-why aren't you wearing your outfit? You would look simply dashing in it." Rarity asked.
"Oh I took it off when we had to gallop here from Canterlot, for speed, this is an urgent mission afterall." Alexx replied. This sith could appear at any time, I need to have my armor on me. Alexx realized. "I will be right back." He said walking to another room. He strapped on his armor and put on his cloak. He looked in the mirror, Rarity was right, he did look dashing in it. The rubies perfectly covered up the spots where his armor was damaged. She did such a great job. Everypony treated me nicely ever since i arrived here. I will protect them all. He promised in his mind.
When he entered the room again he was approached by Twilight."Alexx a few months ago there was a changeling invasion in Canterlot. It was at my brothers wedding." she said. "The Changeling species could transform into anypony you cared for. Perhaps this sith became a changeling when he entered through the gateway." "It would make sense since he could disguise himself where I am from. At least that is what Shanos told me." Alexx said. He then realized something in horror. "You said it could be anypony that I care for? Right Twilight?" He asked. "Yes Alexx that is what I said."
"That means the sith is in this very room." Everyponies eyes widened in fear. "So one of us in here is a phony?" Pinkie Pie blurted out. "That is right. I care for all of you in here. One of you must be him." He said. Alexx did care for them all, loved them even. "How could we tell which one the sith is Alexx?" Twilight said. "Well usually when a force user disguises himself, something in the disguise is false. It could be a physical trait, personality, or even change in ability. Twilight!" He said "You don't think it's me do you Alexx?" She said with concerned eyes. Her eyes were a beautiful purple. "No Twilight. You put up a ward around the library with magic. MAGIC! The force is not magic, therefore if you were the sith I could feel the energy from the ward because it would be made from the force." Alexx said. She let out a sigh of relief.
I wish I could feel which one of these ponies is the sith in disguise. But he is hiding all of his force powers. He really thought this through. Alexx thought. All of the ponies looked at him. He did not want to believe one of them was the sith. Their eyes, those beautiful eyes. The colors were all so amazing. He could just look into them all day. Rarity with her dark blue eyes, Fluttershy with her aqua colored eyes, Pinkie Pie with her light blue, Twilight with hers purple, Rainbow Dash's magenta, and Applejacks red eyes.
Those eyes, those horrible red eyes. "GOTCHA!" Alexx shouted, a grin coming across his face. "Wait. Me? Sugarcube it is me Applejack." She said with concern. "I lived with Applejack for a month. Working the fields of Sweet Apple Acres. When we ate, I sat across from her. We made jokes about the day, drank, and had a good time. When we talked we looked into eachother's eyes and hers were GREEN. I know your eyes. Now where is Applejack, WILLIAM!?
The others gasped in horror. A slight grin came across Applejacks face. In a voice that wasn't Applejacks..
"You were always bright. Alexx."
