Chapter 6
We stood there looking like fools, we were outnumbered a little, We had about 3 companies less than them, it wasn't much, but still, That could be our doom. We only had a couple of seconds
"What now Colonel?," asked the Commander a little nervous
I was still stunned, I didn't thought the chinese would send that much support. As soon I got a hold of myself, I thought about a plan and then it made click in my head
W-we are going to take defencive positions, and then... Before Rainbow could finish...
The Chinese force began to charge, but before they could do anything, something that no one expected happend , Some of they're tanks just blew up, we didn't knew why until, the Anti-Tank jets flew over us, and right after them came Hotel-Six-Niner already continuing to shred apart they're tanks. Before we knew it, the chinese had 2 Battalions less.
"I totally forgot them...," Rainbow said
"Who?" the commander asked
"Hotel-Six-Niner," Rainbow replied
"Ma'am, no disrespect but could you move your flank?" Hotel-Six-Niner interrupted
"Right. Okay everypony, CHARGE!" Rainbow replied
The chinese force didn't slow down, they just continued to charge at us, but we did the same. The sounds of shoots traded and explosions never died down, but we did something the chinese didn't.
"Here's Rainbow to all members of charlie company, we are going to defend the infantry," Rainbow ordered
"Yes Ma'am," Some soldiers replied
Our company stood like a circle nearly in the middle of the battlefield, a couple of infantry companies now stood behind our tanks and stood on they're jeeps to shoot over our tanks sometimes with RPGs but most of the time with Javelins.
"This is working better than expected" Rainbow thought
"Rainbow to every light vehicle, you guys go and take out the chinese infantry," Rainbow ordered
"Affirmative Ma'am," A soldier answered
The battle raged on for nearly an hour the chinese tooked big loses but so did we...
"There, they're running again!" The Commander exclaimed
"Okay, Everypony knows what to do?... Good, then let's go." Rainbow replied
Everypony began to charge after them, But this the the chinese didn't try to put up defences, they just keep retreating
"Okay everypony, slow down we will camp here for the night," Rainbow said
"We can't slow down, we have to keep moving," The Commander exclaimed
"No disrespect sir, but do you really you want to charge the chinese with only a half awake army?" Soarin asked
"Point." Replied the Commander
Everypony camped were they stopped, We didn't had sentries up this night, because the Chinese were on retreat.
A couple of hours later
"Okay, is everypony ready?" The Commander asked
"Yes, we are." Rainbow answered with a yawn
"Okay then let's go," Replied the Commander
We began to move again, The second group told us that they just captured the lst russian fort and now made they're way to us. We still had to drive about half of the day so not much happend. As we closed in on the chinese defence line we met Bravo, Echo, etc. We began to plan the attack.
"Okay guys, We outnumber them 2 nearly 3:1 but that has to say nothing, So here's the plan: Commander and Twilight you attack from the left side, Big Mac and Spitfire and you take the center, Soarin you and me are going to take the right side, And Lighting Dust you take a small scout squad and spot for Yankee-Five your priority is to suppress the Chinese force," Rainbow ordered
"Dash what is about the forest, maybe they have an ambush force in there again," Soarin figured
"Nah, I think they learned from the last time they tried this and even when we got some extra companies standing by and Twilight will lead them, Now let's go!" Rainbow answered
"Yes Ma'am, *salute*" everypony replied and then went off to take their positions
A couple of minutes later
"Is everypony ready?" Rainbow asked
"Eeyup," Big Mac answered
"Okay, Yankee-Five you know what to do," Rainbow replied
"Yes Ma'am," A pony replied
Everything was quiet for a couple of seconds... Until the barrage from Yankee-Five began to explode. It was a very heavy barrage and lastetd around 1 minute, as soon as it was over we began to charge, Some artillery shots came in but not from us.
"Here is Colonel Rainbow Dash we need carpet bombing onto the hills on coordinates: B-H 3,4 and 5," Rainbow radioed to the air force
"Affirmative Ma'am, Eta: 10 Minutes," A pony replied
"Okay Everypony, That artillery will continue to rain down onto us for about 10 minutes, but don't let that stop you," Rainbow informed
We fought for about 10 till 20 minutes already, The Chinese artillery got destroyed ages ago, but the Chinese still had a pretty tough defence, but we pushed them back eventually, It was slow but it was better than nothing, We lost Soldiers in pretty high numbers, Then something happend we totally didn't planned for.
"Dash something is coming in from the forest, I can see trees falling, Looks like they are coming in from behind you," Lightning Dust informed
"Affirmative, Good Eye," Rainbow replied
"Okay, everypony looks like the chinese have an ambush in the forest, My company will engage them, Big Mac you take... our..." Rainbow stopped talking
"Uhmm? Dash?," Big Mac asked
"That ain't Chinese tanks! Rainbow shouted
"What are you talking about?" Big Mac asked confused
"T-these are, Russians!" Rainbow exclaimed
"What?! That's impossible, we...," Big Mac began before getting cut off
"Twi, you attack the Russians from the right, Big Mac you get your fank over here and support us too. Spitfire, Commander, Fleetfoot you have to attack alone," Rainbow ordered
"Yes Ma'am" Everypony replied
Twilight moved in with about 2 armored battalions and a platoon of Heavy attack choppers and Big Mac with nearly a whole regiment. And we still weren't able to stand or ground. The fight lasted about 5 or 10 minutes and we already lost nearly 3 battalions.
"Okay guys, this is pointless, We will fallback, Commander, Spitfire, Fleetfoot you first and try to get up some defences about 1 or 2 miles from here and try to get some reinforcements in!" Rainbow ordered
"Yes Ma'am," They answered
I gave them about 5 minutes, Then I sended back Big Mac and last was Twilight. Now it was only my company.

Meanwhile
"Sir minimal defences are up," A pony said
"Okay, Everypony get into position!" The Commander exclaimed
A couple of minutes later
"There something is coming!" A pony exclaimed
"Don't shot that's our guys," The commander replied
Big Mac came in a minute later Twilight and then... nothing.
"Hey where's Dash?" Spitfire asked
"We don't know she told us to retreat but...," Twilight began before getting cut off
"Something is incoming!" The pony exclaimed again
"Yes we all see that private," Big Mac answered
A company closed in onto them.
"That's Dash's Company!" Twilight exclaimed
"Eeyup," Big Mac replied
But instead of the big battalion that they saw earlier only a couple of platoons returned. And no sight of Dash or Soarin.
"Hey you there!" Twilight shouted
"Yes, Ma'am?" The pony asked
"Where's Rainbow Dash and Soarin?" Twilight asked
"She told us to retreat and the last thing I saw was, that her tank got tracked and they stucked there, But although she told us to keep going," The Pony replied
"So you're telling me she's...," Twilight stopped
"Ma'am before I forget she told me something: Gray Ghost. She said you know what it means," The Pony added
"You there I need a Radio, NOW!" Big Mac shouted
"Yes, Sir," The pony answered
After a couple of seconds he returned with a ham radio
"Here is Captain Big Macintosh, Operation: Gray Ghost has started, We need reinforcements right now!" Big Mac said
"That is a high Operation I need the passwort to be sure it's from high rank," A pony answered
"Ohh Ma'am, she also told me something like Redemption or so, She also told me it has several meanings" The Pony from before shouted
"Who is she?" The Pony from the HQ asked over the Ham Radio
"Colonel Rainbow Dash, Sir," The Pony answered
"Affirmative, That's correct, So now what do you need?" The Pony asked
"We could need some reinforcements," Big Mac said
"No Shit, you said that earlier, but what kind of reinforcements?" The Pony replied
"A couple of Heavy armor battalions, some Medium and Light armor and some artillery," Big Mac replied
"Affirmative, What's ypur position?" The Pony asked
"We were on the assault on china from the North-East but retreated 1,5 Miles to the South-East," Big Mac replied
"Affirmative, Reinforcements will be by you tomorrow evening," The Pony replied
"Roger and Out," Big Mac replied,
"Okay, everypony let's get up some more defences so the Russians don't suprise us," Big Mac ordered,
"Yes, Sir," Everypony replied
They set up Sandbags and some mines, The tanks where the Wall. But they didn't stay up all night, They had some sentries up to warn them.
The Next day, In the evening
"There the reinforcements are coming in!" Big Mac shouted
A Wing (Air division, Group however you wanna call them) of Transport carriers defended by some Jets, dropped of about 200 till 300 hundred Soldiers, nearly 4 Heavy tank battalions, 3 Medium tank battalions, and 1 Light vehicle battalion, and an Heavy Artillery platoon. The reinforcements landed on the ground and a couple of Minutes later about 2 till 3 Heavy attack chopper platoons flew in too.
"What a sight...," Twilight said astonished
"Okay Everypony, We will move out in a couple of hours, so get some sleep or something till then," Big Mac shouted
While most ponies went to sleep the new arrived reinforcements didn't, And held the first watch.
"Ah can't believe it," Applejack mumbled
"What do you mean?" Twilight asked
"Rainbow," Applejack answered
"Hey, do you remember what that Soldier said? With that Passwort I mean," Twilight asked
"Yea he said somethin' like: She told me Redemption, but it has several... meanings..."Applejack stopped for a moment and thought
"Ya mean?" Applejack asked
"Yep, exactly," Twilight answered
