My Little Pony: A Brotherly Chat of the Heart
At this time we find the Rainbooms walking down the hallway with the rest of the gang, including Pinkamena who had fix her relationship with Golden Heart.
“Well, at least something good happened.” Jack Zen stated in how Pinkamena’’s return is a good start.
“Indeed, it’s better that the mistress of this world is still cared for by her brother.” Omega responded from his hidden stealth mode to agree on the subject.
“Aw, thanks you guys.” Pinkamena smiled in liking to be with the gang too.
“We’re glad you came back to us Pinkamena, now if only our problem is as simple to fix.” Twilight spoke in being glad Pinkamena could come back and be with them, but they still gotta figure something out. “I don’t think we should use a classroom.” Twilight was stating this thought to the gang, as they are better off working on their band in a secluded place.
Just then, Twilight wasn’t watching where she was going, as she bumped into the backside of Flash Sentry.
“Flash, boy, are we glad to see you.” Ben smiled in seeing his friend was here.
“Hah-hah…We really need to stop bumping into each other like this.” Twilight blush a little to apologize for the bumping into this guy, but was not seeing the upset look on Flash’s face.
Course during the issue, there was no response, the scene’s tension seem a bit pretty heavy.
“Uh, you guys hear something?” Flash turn away with an upset tone to his buds that see the ones before them.
“Ugh-ugh/Nope,” Flash’s Rocker pals shook their heads in stating they heard nothing, much to the confusion of the others.
“Wha; Ye got earwax in them ears?” Tough raised an eyebrow in not getting how this guy didn’t hear Twilight when she’s so close.
“I said, we have to stop….” Twilight tried to smile and speak up in what she was saying while the others seem unsure and worried about what was going on.
“There it is again. So annoying,” Flash repeated again with a frown stern face to not look Twilight in the eye, much to her shock.
“Now hold on there…” Ben was about to talk with his pal in this world, but…
“And another one, there must be tons of them.” Flash remotely issue to say this of other voices he’s pretending to not hear.
“Flash…I don’t understand. Why are you acting like this?” Twilight spoke off in not following this guy’s actions towards her and the rest. “I thought we were friends.” She stated in how they are supposed to be friends here.
“She’s right Flash, why are you behaving as someone you’re not? We’re pals, remember?” Ben stated to remind this guy that he’s starting to sound and behave differently.
And that got Flash to take in a deep breath with an upset angry look on his face when he heard Ben & Twilight say these things as if pushing a button.
“Yeah, then your little girlfriend, Ben, decided to come back here with you all tagging along, just so she can beat me in the Battle of the Bands.” Flash turn to Ben and every to Twilight in making an argument about a matter that fruited the guy; much to the others’ worries and upset looks. “I want this, Twilight, Ben, and you’re trying to take it from me!” The guy expressed that he was really wanting to win this, only for his old friends to go against him, “Some friend. I don’t know why I ever stood up for you.” Flash mouth off to say this in being upset and said some harsh things now.
“What, no…That’s not why…” Twilight was going to speak her mind, but…
“Come on, Twilight.” Applejack patted her friend’s shoulder to stop her. “We’ve got things ta do.” As AJ said this, the upset Rainbooms were leaving the area along with a worried Megan, Goldie, Pinkamena, Jack Zen & Omega that was unseen to get them away from the jerky Flash.
“You really think you’re gonna help them with this competition?! Ha!” Flash spoke off to look back at the leaving band rivals while making a mockery of them. “I bet you have no idea what you’re even doing in the first place!” Twilight tried to look away when she heard that, as some tears began to start showing in hearing how much Flash has said in which case…their friendship is gone.
“Flash, that’s enough. What about what you say, ‘Why Would I Go and Lie to You about That’, you always said those things when being a good friend.” Ben came in front of Flash to protest this behavior; the Dazzlings have gone and turn the guy who’s his best friend into a jerk.
“Newsflash Ben, that old me…is Done! And there’s no way we’re losing this competition. Consider our being buds, over.” Flash pushed Ben off to say this, as he and his rockers group were leaving.

As Ben was walking across the hall before he sees who he sees coming near him; Flash Sentry. Flash saw Ben, put his hands in his pocket to move off with a huff, as if not seeing the guy. But as Flash and Ben cross paths, one of them grabbed the other’s arm, and guess who started it; Ben Mare, that’s who!
“Let go of my arm?” Flash kindly with remorse in his tone, asked his ex-pal.
“Flash; how could you talk to us like that?” Ben asked off in sounding a bit upset in what happened after the Rainbooms’ humiliation and of almost losing in the semi-finals.
“Do I look like I CARE?! I thought I told you that we're not buddies! I'm just so glad that your girlfriend and friends are humiliated!” Flash remarked off to say while pulling his arm free of Ben’s hold.
“Flash, please! You can't say that. I'm worrying about you! Sunset... she's your girlfriend. She's the one you loved! You can't talk to her like that. She really loves you so much!” Ben was stating his words of worry, Flash said some mean stuff even something that hurt Sunset when she’s already suffering as it is from her past mistakes.
“SHUT UP, jerk! I don't want to hear it! So, get out of my way!” Flash snapped off to say, as he continues to walk away.
“But Flash, I…” Ben cuts across to grab Flash’s arm to stop him; bad move.
“I said…GET OUT OF MY WAY, BEN!” Flash yelled off in fury to look back that Ben wasn’t giving up, and he had it.
Flash turn around to grab and pushed Ben very hard in knocking him right onto the lockers hard. Suddenly, Ben suddenly has a traumatizing memory flash of his past, of how he was treated as a colt by Boris and his boys in school; the bulling, the humiliation, the disses and the threats, the teasing & taunts, all before he became the Demon Pony.
Ben got pushed into the realm of darkness before he landed on the ground from his back. He gasped in fear as he looked around as he found himself surrounded by thousands of dead and skeleton ponies.
"No! No! No! I can't be dead now! Flash! Anypony! Help," Ben exclaims frantically. This cannot be happening! The boy spotted Pony Flash in front of him, "Flash! Thank goodness! Let's get out of here before anything else could happen."
Flash huffed in anger, "Why? So that you can boss me around?!"
"What?! What are you talking about? We're friends, aren't we?"
"Friends; Do you recall the mistake you had made before you disappeared?!"
Ben is bewildered, unsure of what Flash was talking about at first. The hero spoke, "I... I... uh..."
"You don't?! Unbelievable! Let me refresh your memory!" Flash exclaims in disbelief and fury over Ben not recalling. "I tried to tell you about Boris and what you did you do to me?!"
"Flash... I-uh... I didn't mean-!"
"You ignored me! You ignored the very best friend since the day we met at Canterlot Castle! Then you insulted me about my fillyfriend and accused me about taking your Twilight away from you! And you know what you told me?!"
"Flash, please... I didn't mean to-!" Ben pleads to Flash, fearing his heart breaking. His best friend is practically threatening to cut ties with him forever!
Flash cuts Ben off, snapping, "You told me that 'I'm done and sick of being a loser! I'm sick of me being an Earth Pony! I'm sick of you treating me like a kid. But no more! I want to be with Twilight! No one is allowed to take her away from me; No one!' And guess what, buddy?! I'm done..."
"Flash please-!" Ben pleads. His back hooves were grabbed by the Undead Pony who hissed in anger before biting on his. He screamed in pain, "Flash! Help me! Please help me! I'm sorry of what I did before. I really am."
Flash's eyes glowed in crimson as he grabbed Ben's hooves and glared at him. He snarls in hatred, "Goodbye, Ben..."
"Flash, don't!"
Flash pushed Ben right into the middle ring as the Undead Ponies came and charged straight at him. Ben screamed in fear as they continued grabbing and pulling him.
"Flash; Flash; Flassssssshhhhhh," Ben screams in terror as his world went black....

"Fllaaaaaaasssssssssssshhhhhhhh!" Ben gasped in shock and surprise as he looked around him. He found himself in sleeping on his bed with Twilight. The prince hissed as he covered himself with his hooves, "It was a nightmare..."
Ever since the gang's return from the Human Realm, Ben got a nightmare...that his friendship with Flash would be over. He feared the worst after the argument with Human Flash. True, the boy was enchanted by the Dazzlings at the time, but Ben fears the worst that sometime, Flash would turn on him.
Ben's yelling woke Twilight up from her sleep. She got up, looking concerned at her love while asking, "Ben? Honey, are you okay?"
"I'll be fine. I promise. Let's go back to sleep." Ben said to Twilight, not wanting to worry the Alicorn about it right now.
"Ben..."
As Ben went back to sleep, Twilight however didn't. There's something she wants to do...in hopes to put this matter at rest because the mare knew what it was, but is it the right thing to do? The princess got out of bed and grabs the phone, dialing a number. Twilight waited for a moment then a familiar voice answers on the other end.
"Hello?" Flash's voice answers.
"Flash, it's me, Twilight." Twilight said seriously to Flash. The Alicorn doesn't care what time it is. This mustn't be delayed any further!
"Twilight; don't you know what time it is?"
"I know, but I need you to speak with Ben in private at the Old Castle of the Two Sisters. It involves what happened in the Human Realm..."

Ben was standing before the Old Castle of Two Sisters. He sighed in concern, wanting to get away from his royal duties for a while, needing time to think. The Prince of Friendship was so absorbed in this that he fail to see a familiar pony arriving at a first.
"You know it wasn't safe to be alone of coming to this place." Flash spoke, startling Ben who turns and saw him.
"Flash," Ben ask Flash in surprise. What is he doing here? The prince suspected that Twilight must've called him.
"Hey there, you're okay?"
Ben looked down, saying as if wanting to lie, "Yeah, I'm fine..."
"Need to talk?" Flash ask Ben in concern. He can tell that something is wrong with him.
"Nope; there's nothing wrong."
"Ben, you can tell me about it."
"I'm okay. I'm really okay. There's nothing wrong with me." Ben said. The Earth Pony prepares to trot off but Flash flew over, getting in the way. He isn't going to let that answer end this conversion.
"Ben, you can stop lying to me. Twilight told me what had happen. She told me that you're having some nightmares." Flash said seriously to Ben. "I want to check on you. Please, tell me."
Ben groaned a bit, typical that Twilight would interfere, "I told you before that I'm okay."
"You know your lying is very poor. You can keep on lying, but I won't stop until you talk with me. So, start talking!"
Ben screamed in anger, finally having enough, "I'll talk! I trusted you because you were my best friend. I admitted that I made a terrible mistake of not believing in you but you chose to leave me to die with those monsters! You'll betray me again, just like how Human Flash betrayed me; so, how can I trust you?!"
"Ben..." Flash said, stunned in concern by hearing that.
Ben gasped, "oh no..." The Earth Pony hissed in upset. He can't believe that he himself would snaps at Flash like that! The Pegasus pony deserves otherwise! "I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over me. I didn't mean to! I really didn't mean to! I'm sorry."
Flash shushed gently, "Hey; it’s okay. I'm just glad you let your frustration out..."
"Frustration; You call that relief?! I'm such an idiot! I should know, or even remember, that Human Flash was controlled by the Dazzlings, but... I felt like that I'm going to be betrayed again by you... But...But..." Ben sniffed and sobbed in pain and despair, looking like he's going to break down at any given moment. "I'm such an idiot. I'm sorry. I really am... I should know that you never meant to hurt me, but wanted to help. I'm sorry..."
Flash sighed, "Ben... You shouldn't apologize to me. I know you didn't mean to because you really care for me, just like how I care for you. "
"But that time before I turned to Demon Pony, I betrayed you."
"Aw come on! That was long time ago, I forgot about that and forgive you. Why bother about it? You were too excited and anxious that you won't have the chance to be with Twilight."
Ben sighed, "Because... The only pony who really betrayed me... was me... And I blamed myself for being weak and useless. I couldn't save your Human Counterpart. And the way he treated me... it remind me of what I did to you."
Flash spoke, wanting to help Ben put this matter to rest once and for all, "Ben... It's okay. I already told you that it is okay. We're best friends. And best friends stick together and help out, but we're more like brothers."
"But what happen if... What happen if you got controlled?"
Flash sighed, "Then, I trust you." Ben gasped, surprised by the Pegasus's response. "Ben... I don't care of myself. But if I do something bad, I want you to stop me."
"But what if I can't?!"
"You can."
"But Flash!" Ben begins to protest, fearing the worst. But Flash isn't going to have it.
"You can, Ben. Always remember that I've always been your best friend, besides we friends often got into an argument and fight but at the very end... We got everything under control." Flash explains to Ben with a grin, calming the Earth Pony down a bit. "Besides... You and your friends save my counterpart, didn't you? That should be enough. And I believe in you. If you're in trouble or get hypnotized, I'll try my best to save you. I won't give up until I get you back."
Ben thought for the moment before he cried and sniffed in despair yet joy. He jumped and hugged Flash, sobbing, "Thanks, Flash! You're the best and true friend!"
"That's what friends and brothers are for. And trust me... I know you can save me when I'm in trouble."
"Yeah...I guess you're right. Thanks..."
After the two stop their hugging, Flash grins as he spoke, "Come on. We've got a date of destiny with our girls. And it's my treat."
"No way! I'll give the treats!" Ben insists with a laugh. The two friends laugh in amusement; Looks like this matter is now closed.
As Ben & Flash felt as if their friendship was no longer up for question, without warning, Fred & Barney rush into the scene with concern looks on their faces.
"Your highness, the princess just got a message from somepony!" Fred issued this alert notice.
"Yep, does the name...Azuma ring any bells to you?" Barney address whose it was that came by.
"Wait, you two don't mean the One-Pony Army who has an element to make replicate clones?" Flash asked off in knowing who that pony is, and even Ben recalls Azuma from the time they saved the Clone Six before.
"Exactly the guy, he sent one of his clones to tell Twilight some important news that he stubbled upon." Fred nods to say while stating a fact.
"Yep, he said one of his clone scouts discovered a disturbance in the Badlands, and guess what he found." Barney stated this while not looking too glad about the news.
"Um, I give up, what?" Ben asked in having a bad feeling of what the answer is.
"Scales from some Dragon, but with some traces of different DNA results & possible dimension traveling," Fred stated in what was found in that location.
"Azuma had one of them Clone Six's brainiacs look at it and found one possible match..." Barney stated in what answer they have to tell now.
"And that match is Fafnir..." Fred stated this with grim in just telling this bunch of an old villain's name.
"Wait, you mean Fafnir of Mount Thunderflame?" Flash asked off in shock, he and Ben could not believe that.
"Worse than that, he said they were still alive; which means..." Barney was about to say only to be cut off.
"Wait, you mean...Fafnir is alive? But that's impossible! Twilight fused with the human versions of her pals as Unity and defeated him. They pierced through the weak spot I found and he look like his body was destroying itself from what inflicted damage he couldn't bare! Afterwards, he fell in the river and it look like that was his end." Ben spoke off in doubt, he and his family and friends fought Fafnir when he changed into his true form, a Dragon, but then with the effort of his Light Arrows on the foe's weak spot, combined with Unity from Twilight and the EG Mane Five, plus Megan's Rainbow of Light, that should have completely destroyed that evil...so then how was it that evil didn't die?
"He must have pulled something on the last minute with any strength to get out before he was truly gone." Flash stated in what could be the answer.
"Its true sire, as of now, Azuma informed Brave Heart of the guy's return." Fred nods to say while explaining things.
"Yeah, Brave Heart's looking for a chance to end his mortal enemy." Barney nods to say in who else was looking for the weaken Fafnir.
"Well, even if this enemy is alive, he must be pretty much half-dead while still half-alive. Which means, he'll stay out of trouble for a while until he recovers," Flash stated that from the serious inflicted damage, Fafnir may be kept quiet to let them have some moments of peace before coming out again.
"Man, just when I thought my problems weren't enough!" Ben groans to say in feeling today just wasn't his day.
"Cheer up Ben, remember, you defeated him once before, and if he shows up again, you'll all beat him again." Flash patted his friend on the shoulder to cheer him up.
"You really think so?" Ben asked in wanting that to be so.
"Now why would I go and lie about a thing like that?" Flash smiled to say this statement for Ben to hear.
Ben smiled in hearing that liner, it was always the thing used to cheer him up when Flash says it. The two friends smiled to hoof pound another while Fred & Barney smiled at such friendship. Ben may know that an enemy may be alive, but that isn't gonna get him down, even with the scar he received, he'll fight on with his close pals beside him.

Guildenstern chuckled evilly as he held the magical strings on Flash. The latter held Ben to the ground hard while holding a knife.
Flash seems to be snapping out of it, crying to Guilderstern, "No! Please! Leave them alone! I beg of you!"
Guildenstern chuckles cruelly, "Obey me, Human. You are meant to kill him..."
"No! No! NO! NO! BEN!!!!!!!!!"
Guildenstern moved his hand down, causing Flash to stab his knife on Ben's chest hard. Ben screamed in pain.
Flash gasped in horror, "Nooooooooooooooo!"

Flash, the human version, screamed in fear as he got up and looked around his surroundings. He was inside his bedroom with Sunset, who is spending the time with him, "He hissed in fear and pain as he held his hands on his face."
Sunset, waken by Flash's commotion, got up, looking concerned as she ask, "Flash? Are you okay?"
Flash sighs, shaking his head as he spoke, "Yeah... I'm fine... Don't worry." The boy took his sleep, wanting to forget about the whole time...but his girlfriend knew that something is wrong.
"Flash...."
Sunset picks up the phone and dials in a familiar number. Ben must know as to what's going on with his best friend.

Flash and his band were playing the band, but he wasn't focused as he played the wrong key and singing badly. His two band members asked him about what happen before he lied to them. They then told him to take a break. The boy sighs, leaving the practice room while walking down a hallway. Flash wants to clear his head so badly.
"Hey, Flash." Ben spoke up as he came over to Flash. "Want to talk?"
"No thanks, Ben. I just need a drink." Flash said as he goes over to a drinking fountain. The Rocker doesn't know what Ben wants to talk to him about, but suspects that Sunset is responsible for it.
"Come on, Flash. We're friends. Let's talk about it. I know what had happened here. Were you upset because of how you treated your own best friends?"
Flash sighed in sadness, no need to lie now. The Rocker explains, "Yeah... I can't believe of how I talk and treat to them - my own best friends. I was stupid and an idiot for doing that! I shouldn't deserve this friendship. I guess this is how Sunset felt when she made a terrible mistake..."
"But you didn't because you were under controlled by the Dazzlings." Ben points out to Flash calmly. It's true. His behavior is because of the Dazzlings' influence.
"But that doesn't give an excuse from treating them badly. I feel very bad about it."
"You shouldn't. Besides of what you did was wrong, you helped them in the end. Besides, even when you were under controlled, me and our friends will be there to save you and bring you back. And what happen if I was under controlled? Are you going to leave me that?!"
Flash is shocked to hear that coming from Ben. The Rocker wouldn't let his friend suffered from that! Flash exclaims, "Of course not! I will never let my girl and friends get controlled by any freaks! And I'd swear that I will give them hard punches for hurting them! I won't let that happen without a fight!"
Ben grins in satisfaction, saying, "That's the spirit. So, whatever happen - don't give up until we succeed."
"Thanks, Ben. You know what is so hard to believe? Miss Iris Crystal is your sister, and Pony Ben didn't know that?"
"Technically, it's Half-sister but yeah. He didn't know it. Flare Tiger told me and Iris not to reveal our family relationship because... his mom hadn't told him the truth."
Flash sighed while shaking his head, "That must be harsh. I sure hope that she told him the truth before it's too late." He fears of what would happen to Pony Ben if his mother, Princess Celestia, doesn't tell him the truth and soon.
"Agreed; Come on, our girls are waiting." Ben said, preparing to head off. Twilight and Sunset is waiting for their boys right now.
"Yeah... Wow, I didn't know that your girlfriend loves to wear glasses."
"She's been busy with her studies, especially when she was Azure Phoenix's Student."
"Point taken." Flash admits, laughing with Ben as the two heads off.
It appears that no matter what happens, no nightmares will separate the friendship of two friends of both worlds.
