Chapter 3: Rainbow Dash

“Rainbow Dash!” Called a little, flightless orange and magenta filly. Groaning, I stretched and flew to the hard-packed earth.

“Wassup, squirt?” I say.

“Some really weird new ponies came to town today! They fell out of a weird lightning cloud!” Scootaloo gushed. I raised an eyebrow.

“Where are they at?” I asked her.

“Princess Twilight Sparkle’s castle.” Scoots replied excitedly to my (hopefully) uncaring sounding question.

I give a quick thanks to my… pony that I took under my wing, I guess? Dashing off towards the crystally castle that Twilight now had, I bumped into Lightning Fyre. She was another new pony in Ponyville, she reminded me of myself. Her brash personality, her speed, all that jazz. We chatted for a little, then I sped off at rainbow speeds. Shortly, I arrived and I saw Fluttershy walking with a line of about seven ponies trailing wobbily behind her, but looking just slightly more sturdy every step they took.

"Hey Fluttershy! Need some help?" I called. Two of the ponies looked in my direction, while the rest just stayed focused on their walking. Fluttershy nodded, then paused to gesture to her pale yellow wings, which were now open. I nodded back.

They hadn't even recognized WHAT WE WERE! Huffing, I said a quick goodbye and left the crystalline castle belonging to Twilight Sparkle, The Princess of Friendship. As I exited the large translucent doors, I streched my blue wing and flew into the now darkened sky, leaving a rainbow trail in my wake.

I woke up in a comfortable... storm cloud? DANG IT! I must have been in a bad mood before and when I went to sleep. Groaning, I rolled over, and got hit by lightning.

"GAAAH!" I screamed, electric shock throwing me into the air, then gravity pulling me down to the earth. I flipped upside down before falling, landing on the path with a very painful thud. I was laying, on my back, wings spread, hooves waving in the air. My back hurt and my legs were being irresponsible. I laid there for a good five minutes before my legs finally had feeling in them again, therefore allowing me to get up. I began walking to... Nowhere in particular.

I was trotting along the rocky pathway, my hooves hitting the ground with a small thunk,
