I've only been here a month and now I have cell service in Equestria?! How could that have happened!? The princesses just left! Wait, It just might be a glitch. I reboot the phone and it doesn't show any cell service anymore.
"All right, it was a glitch," I think out loud
"What was a glitch?" Twilight asks, catching me off gaurd.
"My phone reported I had cell phone service here. It does that from time to time," I reply, looking back at my phone. It's clock reads 9:30pm. I decide to put on a movie. Out of my entire list I had Rockman.EXE: The Program of Light and Dark, Fast And Furious, and The Simpsons Movie. I decided to put on the Rockman.EXE movie and sat on the couch. Twilight sat down and asked,
"Byron, what is that?"
"This is an animated Japanese movie," I reply
"I don't understand what they're saying. It's like they are speaking another language."
"Well, that's because they are. The movie never got an English dub, but someone decided to make subtitles for it. They aren't the best translations, but it's better than not understanding it at all."
"Well that makes a lot of sense." Twilight says sarcastically, "Wouldn't be easier to have the english version?"
"The show that ties to this movie never got any English releases past season 2. The game counterpart got english releases though, which I thought was stupid."
"Well I could translate the movie to english," Twilight suggests
"I highly doubt it. You don't even know the dub names."
"You could teach me!"
"I suppose I could..." I ponder, "I'll give you a quick rundown." We went through the list of characters and thier english names. I'm not sure what to be more surprised about, the fact that the Japanese to English translation was 100% accurate, Twilight was able to recreate the voices with no trouble at all, or that it was done in under 15 minutes! In any case we sat down and watched it in english. I made a note to myself to import it to my computer later. When the movie was over we both got ready for bed. She went upstairs to her room and I slept on the couch.
I woke up a few hours later to the smell of eggs cooking. I check my phone for the time. It reads 10:30am on Saturday morning. I walk into the kitchen and say good morning to Spike.
"Good Morning Byron!"
"'Morning Spike," I reply, " I don't mean to sound rude, but do you guys got any coffee here?"
"Yep, made some earlier."
"Thanks Spike." I grab a mug from the cupboard and pour some coffee into it and sweeten it to my liking. I hear some yawning coming from upstairs. Twilight must be waking up. I grab a mug for her and pour some coffee into it. As if on cue she walks into the kitchen.
"'Morning Twilight," I greet, "Sleep well?"
"Good Morning Byron," She replies, " I slept great." She sweetens her coffee and takes a sip. Spike puts breakfast on the table, and we all sit down to eat. When we're done eating, Spike heads to Rarity's to help her gem hunt, Twilight goes to study, and I go for a walk around the town. Before I leave I change to pony form, and then head out. Upon leaving I run into three fillies. One Orange pegasus, one white unicorn, and one yellow earth pony. I could already take a guess on who was related to who.
"Sorry mister!" The yellow one says
"No problem. It was my fault for not looking where I was going," I reply
"I don't think I've seen you around before," Says the orange one
"Yeah I think you're right Scootaloo," Comments the white one.
"Well I'm new in town. My name's Charming Crescent" I reply
"I'm AppleBloom!" Says the yellow one
"I'm Sweetie Belle!" Squeaks the white one.
"And I'm Scootaloo" Says the orange one.
"And together we make THE CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS!" They yell.
"Nice to meet you." I say good bye and make way to SugarCube Corner. I see Pinkie Pie working the counter. Before she has the chance to say my real name, I quickly make a motion to say my pony name.
"Morning Charming!" She greets excitedly
"Morning Pinkie," I reply.
"What can I get you?"
"Just a chocolate chip muffin would be fine"
"That'll be 2 bits." I hand her the bits, say good bye and continue walking around town. I stumble across the Everfree Forest and decide to make my way back home. Upon entering my house, my answering machine has 2 messages. One from a customer, the other from my mom. My cell starts ringing and the caller ID says it's my mom. I decide not to answer it. I go to my workshop and start working on my next build.
