I went inside and spotted the mare from yesterday behind the desk I waved and walked over to her.
“Good morning Miss.” I smiled. She looked at me and smiled warmly “Good morning I already have somepony ready to show you the house.”
Then I hear a young mare's voice from behind me “are you here about the house?” she asked. I turn around to see a gray maned mare wearing a pair of glass smiling “Hello there welcome to Ponyville I am the Mayor, Mayor Mare.”
I tried not to burst out in laughter after hearing that, I kept my composure spoke “Thank Miss Mare. My name is Zanti and yes I am here about the house.”
She turned toward the exit “Well let's get going best not to keep you waiting any longer.” I grinned and bowed “Well lead the way Miss Mare.” She chuckled and headed outside. I followed behind her.
When we arrived I was pleased to see how big the house was. I first noticed the freshly cut lawn, only because there was an amazingly constructed stone walkway that lead to the front door.
My eyes widened as I gazed at the house “Wow this place is huge!” She nodded “Yes! Now although the backyard is a tad bit small. Its a two bedroom, two bathroom duplex that is placed on top of each other. The kitchen is located downstairs. There is a balcony on the back of the house as well as patio.”
I thought to myself “This place is perfect. I could use the bottom floor as my house and the top floor can be counseling room.”
She turned to me “Would you like to look inside?” I responded so quick she barley got her question out. “Yes!” She jumped a little “Oh ok!” We walked to the door and went inside. I was completely speechless.
I saw the living room which was amazing! The walls were a beautiful shade of white and the floor was wooden. It was nicely polished. Looking at it closer I realized it was mahogany, one of my favorites.
“This is amazing!” I said with so much excitement in my voice. She waved at me and I looked at her “Come this way. I will show you the bedrooms.” We went to the left of the house and walked down a hallway. They were three doors down the way.
“The doors on the left and the right are the bedrooms; and the door and the end of the hallway is the bathroom.” She showed me both the bedrooms. They were both were a little bigger than the average room. She showed me the bathroom and it was normal. A standard bathroom, everything was common.
Then she showed me to the kitchen which was a long way from the front door. It looked really nice. It had black plastic counter tops, black wooden cabinets and a metal sink.
There was a door with a window that lead to the patio. We went outside to check it out. It was made of wood, which worried me, but Mayor Mare saw my face and assured me not to worry. “Don't worry, the wood is waterproof and it last a good 3 years before you have to replace it.”
My worries were gone after hearing that, “Ok lets take a look upstairs.” She smiled and we went back inside. We were heading up the wooden stairway when we got up the top of the stairs. Immediately I felt my mood change from how I felt about the house downstairs.
The left side of the wall was painted green and the right side black. It looked just awful. Then she showed me the bathroom which look the same as the one downstairs “Thank Luna.” I whispered to myself.
Then we walked out onto the balcony and view was breathtaking.
“So will you take it?” Mayor Mare questioned. I thought for a moment, wondering if it was really worth it and happily answered “Yes, I will take it!”
“Perfect! Lets head back to Town Hall to take care of finances and to finalize the paperwork.” I nodded and we headed back to Town Hall.
When we returned, we went through the paper and I noticed something interesting “It said right here I can buy the whole property and not just the house.” She took a look at what I was talking about and nodded “ Yes you can, but you will have to pay total of 3500 bits.”
I calculated in my head to see if I could afford that with the other things I had to buy. After a few minutes, I grinned “I will buy the whole property.”
She was shocked “ A-are sure?!” I giggle at the expression on her face “Yes. If I do, it says right here, I don't have to pay a monthly fee. Instead all payments from the house just get added to my taxes each year.”
She took another look and nodded “Ok, that will be 3500 bits.” I took out a bag of bits from my saddlebag and gave her the money. I signed the deed, then the Mayor gave the deed and the paperwork to the mare behind the desk and she filed it away in the cabinet behind her.
I shook her hoof “Thank you for your help Mayor.” She smiled “Your welcome. Also there will be some movers at your new house to get set you up with some basic furniture for your living room, bedrooms and kitchen consider it a gift from citizens of Ponyville.”
I was shocked, but then in an instant it all turned to pure joy I pulled her close and gave a big hug. She was surprised at first but then hugged back. “Thank you so much I really appreciate it.”
She shook her head “Don't just thank me, thank everypony in Ponyville.” I nodded then I thought “I have to make sure to pay everypony back in full.”
I waved goodbye to the Mayor Mare and the Mare behind the desk. They both waved back. I stepped outside and thought to myself “Ok before I head home I need to go to a paint shop. Then get the things I need for my counseling room.”
I tried to remember how many bits I had left. “Oh yea I have 3470 bits left, that should be enough.” I said to myself. I looked around and spotted the clock tower that said two fifty. I thought to myself “Yea I got time. Lets get to it.”
I asked around so that I could find the shops I was looking for. A very polite stallion showed me exactly where to find what I was looking for so I went to purchase each item quickly. The furniture shop was my first stop. I had to find the things I need for my counseling room.
I found a good furniture set and went straight to the paint shop to see if they paint rooms. After receiving confirmation that they did I picked a good shade of white for them to paint my counseling room for tomorrow.
I walked outside to look at the clock tower, it was almost 5 o'clock. I was feeling tired after all that running around so I headed home. By the time I got to my house it was sundown. I walked up to my front door only to hear cheering and a roar of congratulations when I unlocked and opened the door.
“Surprise!” startled with excitement I looked around to see a bunch of ponies standing around my living room. There were to couches sitting across from each other with a table in the middle. Looking around and seeing how nice everything looked I couldn't help but be grateful. Suddenly a pony just rushed right in front of me, when my eyes finally focused from all the commotion I realized it was Pinkiamena. The very beautiful Pinkiamena.
“So do you like it?” She asked quickly. I had a confused look on my face “like what?”
She giggled and snorted “Your welcome party silly.” After realizing what she asked I gently hit the side of my head with my hoof feeling really silly as she so heavenly put it “Oh yea! I like it. Wait, why did you throw me a welcome party?”
“Well after you left I realized you were a new pony I decided to throw you a party because I always throw parties for the new ponies. It helps to feel welcomed and meet new people. Plus, its also a passion of mine. I'm Ponyvilles Party Planner Extraordinare!”
She had said the sentence so fast I thought she broke a record “Well Ok! Thank you!” I said as enthusiastically as she did.
She Smiled “Your welcome. Let me introduce you to my friends.” I nodded as she bounced toward 5 other mares Pinkiamena got their attention and then she introduce me.
“These are my friends ,Applejack.” She pointed to the orange earth pony with 3 red apples for her cutie mark. She also had a blond mane and was wearing a stetson. “Howdy nice to meet ya.” She said having a southern accent.
“Nice to meet you to Applejack.” Then Pinkimena pointed to her next friend “This is Rainbow Dash.”
Rainbow Dash was a clayed blue Pegasus with a cloud and a rainbow lighting shooting out of it. She also had a rainbow colored mane. “Nice to meet ya welcome to Ponyville.”
“Thanks, nice to meet you too Rainbow Dash.” Then the next pony that walked up to me was a pure white unicorn with 3 blue diamonds as her cutie mark. “Hello again dear nice to meet you again.” She said in a rather elegant voice.
“Its nice to meet you again too Rarity.” Then Pinkiamena spoke “So this is the Stallion you helped last night.” Rarity nodded
Then a lavender unicorn with Star for her cutie mark walked up to me “Its nice to meet you ,my name is Twilight Sparkle.” I looked at her and then I realized it “Hey... I have see you before yesterday to ran pass me and put me in a daze and then I got trample by a group of mares.”
Twilight blushed “Whoops sorry about that.” I shook my head ”Naw its alright.”
Then look at the last of her friends a yellow Pegasus with a pink mane thats lighter than Pinkiamena's and had 3 butterflies for a cutie mark.
“Hello miss.” I smiled at her part of her face was covered by her mane “Hello...I'm Fluttershy.”
She spoke rather softly but I heard her “Hello my name is Zanti. Its a pleasure to meet you all.” I did a small bow. Pinkiamena pop of the blue “Alright, now lets party!”
We all cheered and then enjoyed the party. After a few hours everypony helped clean up and then left. “Pinkamena wait!” She stopped and told her friends to head on back and walked up to me “Yes Zanti?” and without warning I gave her hug “Thanks for the amazing party.”
She hugged back “No problem have good night Zanti.” She headed for the door.
“I will you too.” I waved goodbye and she waved back. I closed the door and locked it. Then I headed to the bathroom to take a bath.
Then I headed for one of the bedrooms and got under the blankets “Today was perfect time for some rest.” I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
