Walking down the road, the sun was shining brightly in Spike's eyes so he flipped his shades up onto his face. "Looking good Spike!" says Twilight Sparkle. This made Spike let out a chuckle. While walking through town, they saw Rainbow Dash relaxing on top of the City Hall reading the newest book of Daring Doo. "Rainbow Dash?" yelled Twilight. Rainbow Dash turned her head towards Twilight. "Oh hi Twilight, what do you want?" said Rainbow. "We were invited to go on vacation to Port Coltian!" Rainbow Dash heard this and quickly swooped down from the rooftop to the ground, landing with a skid. "Awesome! I can't wait to go and work on my tan!" She then threw her luggage on top of Spike who was carrying all of the ponies luggage. "Tell me again, why I have to carry everything?" says Spike in a angry tone of voice. "Don't worry Spike, i'll promise for us to ride in a wagon on the way there!" "Well we better be finished soon because I don't think I can carry this much longer!" said Spike with wobbly legs.
Next on their list was to go to Sugarcube Corner. As they approach, Pinkie Pie barges out of the front door holding a lightly tan box. "Hi girls! Would you like to try one of our new Beach Treats? I baked them myself!" said Pinkie Pie in a joyous mood. "Sure Pinkie I would love..." and before Spike could finish, Pinkie opened the box and shoved a large tan and blue cupcake in his mouth. Spike chewed the cupcake and said "Wow this cupcake is crunchy! What did you put in it?". "Sand of course! It's a beach cupcake you know!" said Pinkie with a giggle. Spike stared at her for a minute then swallowed the cupcake "Not bad!" "So why did you come to Sugarcube Corner today, Twilight? said Pinkie. "We are going away on vacation and you are invited!" Within a second, Pinkie ran upstairs and came back wearing her sunglasses, and an inner tube with balloons attached to them. "Lets go! Its time to party!" yelled Pinkie Pie while dancing. She then proceeded to throw her stuff on top on Spike. "Ugh, Pinkie? Do you mind helping me out?" said Spike out of breath and about to collapse. "Why sure! I'll be right back!" Out rolled a pink cart brand new. "Here you go!" Spike then carefully put the bags onto the cart and pulled it to the next destination.
They continued walking away from Ponyville to Apple Farm Acres. The wind was now slowly breezing and there were windchimes in the distance. The path leading to the farm was quiet nice, surrounded by trees of all sizes and various animals running about. As the ponies arrived at the farm, Applejack and her family were in the front of the barn swimming in a large pool with the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Applebloom spotted them and yelled "Twilight!" AppleJack then turned her head towards them and said "Howdy girls! Care for a swim?" squeezing her hair out onto the dirt. "No thanks, we came to pick you up..." said Twilight. "And to go on vacation!" cheered Pinkie Pie. "Vacation!?" said all of the crusaders in a big smile. "Sorry girls, we only have a ticket for Applejack" said Twilight Sparkle. "Vacation? That sounds that one rodeo of a good time Twilight!" says Applejack happily. They loaded up her bags onto the cart and went off to Fluttershy's house. Soon after they left, Granny Smith looks at them walking away and says "Why don't I get invited to anything?" The Crusaders chuckled at Granny.
It took them a while to get to Fluttershy's due to bridge being out. They had to forge through the river together with the cart on Pinkie's back. Halfway across the river, Applejack tripped and fell, only to come up with a face full of mud. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie proceeded to laugh at their friend's face. "Come on girls! Pull together, we have to get across!" said Twilight Sparkle angrily. When they finally got out of the river, they traveled down the path to Fluttershy's house. They walked through the door and saw on the floor both Fluttershy and Rarity. "Rarity? What are you doing here? said Twilight. "Its Grooming Day for my darling Opal but she has been giving me trouble so I came to Fluttershy to came Opal down." said Rarity. "Ok Rarity, it looks like Opal is done with her grooming" says Fluttershy happily. "Ooh, she looks absolutely superb! Thank you Fluttershy!" says Rarity hugging Opal. "Hey girls, we have to get going! We are going on vacation!" says Rainbow Dash. "Ooh we will be ready in just a minute, luckily I stayed overnight and have all of my stuff with me" says Rarity. Their luggage was thrown onto the pile then Fluttershy and Rarity walked with the rest of their friends back to City Hall.
Once they arrived at City Hall, there was a carriage waiting for them outside. "Oh hello! I heard Princess Celestia is sending you all on a trip to Port Coltian to ride the S.S. Seapony!" says the Mayor joyfully. "Well don't want to keep you girls waiting! Off you go!" Spike and the Mane 6 then entered the carriage storing their bags on top. "Ah finally some peace and relaxation" says Spike softly. The Mane 6 began to talk loudly amongst each other and laughing about what they wish to do on their vacation. "Why can't I have one minute of peace!" said Spike huffily trying to nap. Then the carriage proceeded onward down the path away from Ponyville and to Port Coltian.
