The red hue of the sun spreads across Equestria's grassy fields and into the streets of Ponyville as it reaches it's peak the blue afternoon sky. The citizens of Ponyville are having a normal day, chatting with other ponies, buying merchandise, and eating food. Just another day in peaceful Equestria. No pony suspected anything out of the ordinary would happen today, they just continued their wonderful afternoon under Princess Celestia's sun, soaking the warmth into their manes. Little did they know that deep within space, a unknown being was headed straight for their peaceful kingdom at fire starting acceleration.
This Unknown being was approaching Equestria at an alarming rate, the gravitational pull increasing the beings speed as a cone of flames wrapped around it as it was getting faster. The clouds were blown apart as the being blasted straight through them with ease, some Pegasai were moving the clouds to their new destination, but the speeding life-form cut between their path and sent them spinning out of control. The being was heading straight to the deep trenches of the Everfree Forest as it crash landed into the wet and sticky soil, the ground imploded as mud and debris was splattered around the now new formed crater in the dirt. The landing shook the tree's, disturbing many creatures that lurk inside the tree's and on the forest floor. A large smoke cloud rose from the crater as the being inside it began to stir with motion, it stood up as the being looked around with curious eyes. Not knowing where it was, the being began to climb the crater as wet mud started to pour into the crater.
Outside of the forest moments after the crash, was a startled and curious little yellow Pegasus as it started to slowly make it's way toward the destination of the crash. The unknown being looked around as it ran the millimeter scanners inside it's cybernetic brain, the being is searching for its current data as the file comes up "corrupted". The being blinks as it's normal vision is returned, it has become confused as where it was located. The being turned it's head to the right as it's neck had a name on it, "Unit; Contra" it read, the beings name was Contra. The sun was slowly becoming grey as rain clouds appeared over the forest, it began to pour small but plentiful droplets of rain as it fed the forest soil nutrients and hydration. Contra looked at the mud puddle as it showed it's reflection, Contra had never seen what it looked like until now.
Contra appeared to have a slim but some muscular body structure that represented a female in it's data base. Contra's hair was a pure star white as it's length reached down to her waist, it was sharp like unkempt curved sabers. Her eyes were a pure sea salt blue as it sparkled in the muddy waters reflection, and she had semi large breasts as they were covered by her armor. She wore mechanical armor that covered area's of her body, and 6 extra parts were on her back like folded metal wings. Contra became more curious as she bent over slightly and touched the water as it ripple from her metal covered index finger. She stood up once again as her ears twitched from the sense of motion, she looked to her right as a large creature she has never seen before, slowly appears from the bushes.
The creature was large, it's eyes were a piercing jade green, instead of skin it was replaced by wood, it had spiked wooden teeth as the saliva slowly oozed from it's open mouth and glared at Contra. Contra scanned the unknown organism and came up with no data on it, she only tilted her head in curiosity at the creature. Whatever the creature was, it growled menacingly at Contra. Contra's defensive system made an audible beep as her eyes turned to a bright crimson red, she arched her knee's as the extra metal parts on her back came off and started to form into a laser rifle. She aimed it at the creature as it lunged at her, Contra pulled the trigger as a large beam of light exploded from the barrel of the rifle and hitting the creature in it's gut. The creature landed on the hard soil with a thump as it shakily stood on all four of it's feet, it began to howl in agony as it's stomach began to rapidly decay from the inside, sticky sap leaking from different parts of it's body and spreading onto the dirt. The creature collapsed as it's intestines were eaten by the strange light from the inside out.
Not far away, the small yellow Pegasus has almost reached the crater in the forest, but lurking in the bushes is a slithering snake like creature that stalks it's prey with the slight sound of rattling on it's tail. The little Pegasus slowly found it's way to the crater as it curiously stared into the deep hole, only to find flowing mud. Something can't be right, mud did not create this large crater and whatever did is still around here. But it's curiosity was soon replaced with fear, as it heard the loud sound of hissing behind it. The small Pegasus shakily turned around as it came face to face with a large reptilian, the Pegasus could see acid dripping from it's fangs as it the droplets burnt the ground beneath it.
The Pegasus closed it's eyes as the snake lunged at her with it's acidic fangs, the Pegasus could not hear the hissing anymore as when she opened her eyes, a much larger creature stood in front of her. This creature had the snakes head in it's grasp, the Pegasus witnessed with it's own eyes, seeing the snake being torn in half by the creature in front of her. The snakes blood splattered in different directions, some blood splattered in front of the Pegasus. The very sight of blood made the Pegasus shiver, tears started to form in it's eyes. The Pegasus started to silently cry as a poor animal died because of her own curiosity, it covered it's eyes with it's hooves and cried.
Contra only blinked as she looked down at the dead reptilian like creature before her, but she turned around and looked at the small yellow Pegasus before her in curiosity. Contra scanned the Pegasus as her sensors labeled it friendly, she dropped onto one knee and simply stared at the Pegasus as the rain slowly got heavier. She could see the Pegasus look at her with fear as its lip was quivering, she only placed her metal hand on the Pegasus's pink mane and slowly stroked it. Contra could see the Pegasus become less fearful with every stroke as it had stopped crying. The Pegasus slowly looked up with a smile and softly spoke.
"You saved me, m-my name is Fluttershy" she said very softly but Contra heard her clearly. Contra blinked as she entered the name "Fluttershy" in her data base, she smiled at Fluttershy and stood up. Fluttershy looked up at Contra as she read the name imprinted on her neck, she smiled as she tapped her leg. Contra looked down at Fluttershy as she spoke.
"Your name is Contra?" Fluttershy asked as Contra nodded in reply. Contra quickly turned as her sensors picked up movement beyond the bushes, what stepped out was a bear like creature, it was blue and had many stars riddled in it's fur, it had one large star on it's forehead. The beast roared at Contra and Fluttershy as their hair was blown back with heavy wind, Fluttershy started to cower in fear as the large monster stomped closer. Contra's eyes turned crimson once again as she activated her defenses, her rocket boots engaged as she took flight. Contra soared high in the sky as she bawled her fists and they became cover in electricity, she dived down as she was approaching the beast at break neck speeds. The beast roared as the clash was about to begin, Contra had to protect Fluttershy at all costs.
Contra slammed both her electrified fists into the towering creatures gut, sending it staggering back a few feet. The beast grows angry as it swings it's massive arm at her, she dodges it as two hovering nodes attach themselves to the beast and explode in a burst of light. Contra was hit by the beasts other arm as she was sent flying through 6 trees from the force of the blow, she regained her balance and shook the leafs from her hair. She spotted the beast looking at helpless Fluttershy as it licked it's lips. She engaged her rocket boots again and blasted off at high speeds at the beast, she collided with the beasts jaw as there was a loud crack.
Contra had rammed the beast so hard that the both of them were tumbling into the forest, knocking over every tree that was in their path of destruction. Before Contra could regain her stance, she was hit in the stomach by the beasts claws and slammed her against a large boulder. When Contra opened her eyes, the beast opened it's mouth as large beam of light had blasted her through the boulder shaping the boulder into a large stalactite, and sending her tumbling by Fluttershy's side. The beast was charging toward Contra and Fluttershy, it's teeth open and ready to devour its prey.
Time seem to slow down as the rain was hitting against Contra's body, some of her armor is damaged and her circuits are working to repair them as fast as possible, the beast before her making heavy foot prints in the mud as it roars, the sound waves of her new companion Fluttershy's weeping is slamming against Contra's artificial ear drums. Contra Clenched her teeth as she started to dash head on at the towering beast, she was grabbed by both of the creatures paws as it began to try to squeeze her like a peanut. Contra blinked as she activated her exploding nodes once again, but the attached to her and the beast. She closed her eyes tight as the nodes exploded, both of them were sent flying in opposite directions.
Fluttershy opened her eyes as she witnessed her savior and the beast were sent flying into heavy objects, she seen the beast collided with the newly formed stalactite as the sharp point pierced the beast in the heart. The beast slowly slid down to the base in a bloody impalement. Fluttershy covered her mouth with her hooves as she witnessed another death of a poor creature, she turned to her left to see Contra heavily damaged as she galloped to her saviors side.
Contra was shakily standing as her armor was dented, her circuits were in mid repair, and her sensors were glitching. She pressed her metallic hand to her forehead as she seen a patch of blood. Contra closed her eyes as her repair stage engaged, she started to shrink until she was nothing but a small cylinder like container as it hit the mud. Fluttershy started to panic as she grabbed the weird cylinder in her mouth and took to the sky, she started to fly toward Ponyville in a rush to help her new and very unusual friend. Fluttershy hoped her friend Twilight could help her, cause she had no idea what to do.
Fluttershy felt the tears flow from the corners of her eyes from the heavy air blowing against her face, her wings aching from the heavy flapping and endurance, her teeth hurting from biting onto the hard metal cylinder, she cant fly much longer. As the beating in her chest grew faster, she had finally made it to Twilight's tree as she landed roughly on the dirt. Fluttershy slammed her hoof repeatedly on the wooden door as the rain soaked her mane and coat, the door opened as her worried friend Twilight answered it with a confused look. Fluttershy only had little strength left as she said weakly.
"Please... Help" Fluttershy croaked before she collapsed from the fatigue.
