"What!!!!!!!!!!!" six fillies screamed in unison staring at the alicorn stallion lying before them. The stallion chuckled softy as he watched the six girls. It was easy to see all six fillies were related to the original element bearers.
"What kind of ending is that uncle tempest where is the romance, what happened to Storm?" One of the girls said getting murmurs of agreement from the rest. She is defiantly rarity's granddaughter Tempest thought with a chuckle as he smiled warmly at the girls.
" I don't know what to say girls that's the way the story ends" Tempest said smiling warmly at the girls as they all stared at him like he had two heads.
"Well that doesn't make sense" one of the other girls said. " why would you tell a story about somepony else marrying auntie Moon and Luna..... unless the story is about you!" Leave It to twi's granddaughter to come to that conclusion Tempest thought to himself laughing whole heartedly earning a hard glare from the girl.
"Now what gave you that idea Eve it is just a story?" Tempest said eyeing Eve amused as she glared at him angrily.
"It is entirely possible for a non alicorn to become an alicorn through marriage to an existing alicorn." Eve said a smug look on her face.
"But is their a recorded marriage between a dragon and a alicorn?" Tempest said earning a scowl from Eve as she admitted there wasn't before her face lit up with a huge smile.
"Well maybe their was but it was destroyed in that fire granny twilight accidently started in the royal archives while practicing a spell."
"That could be true but we will never know" Tempest said chuckling as Eves face dropped but it perked up when the sound of a hoof steps on the floor behind them a soft voice say.
"What are you little ponies doing up at this hour?" Luna said walking into the room Nightmare Moon in tow.
"Uncle Tempest was telling us a story about you and Auntie Moon marrying a dragon" One of the other girls said. Bouncing energetically in place her poufy neon Blue main bouncing insanely her pink eyes aglow.
"Did he now?" Moon said " and what was this story about?"
"It was about a dragon named Storm and he married you and auntie Luna but that was all he would tell. And we were all like nu-uh their has to be more but he said that was it so he and eve started talking about it. And the rest of us just sat here and watched until you showed up." The bouncing ball of energy said beaming at the Princesses.
"I see" Luna said smiling at the filly before looking reproachfully at Tempest. "So I say again why are the girls up at this hour?"
"What?" Tempest asked defensively "how could I resist those six cute little smiles?" As if to prove the point all six girls looked at the princesses and did their best puppy dog eyes. Causing Luna to just about have a heart attack from cuteness overload.
"I can" Nightmare deadpanned staring at the girls with a blank expression.
"That's because you never had kids" Tempest said off hand being in the same boat as Luna.
"Well then you should fix that" Nightmare said wiggling her eyes suggestively
"uhh-huh.... wait what?" Tempest said with a start causing Everypony to bust out laughing save Nightmare who was dead serious. There was a long silence after Everypony quieted down Everypony looking back and forth between each other uncomfortably.
"Anyway... I think it’s time you fillies went to bed." Luna said earning a chorus of whining of disapproval from the girls as they filed out the door.
"And you should get ready for you duties Tempest you’re going to be late to train the new recruits." Nightmare said as she fallowed Luna and the girls out the door. With a warm chuckle Tempest Stood and walked over to a nearby wardrobe and opening it to reveal a familiar dark blue armor and began to put it on. Right about this time Luna and the girls reached the guest room were the fillies would be staying, only for little Eve to realize she forgot something in the other room. She quickly backtracked and let herself in only to stop mouth agape at the sight before her. Tempest was standing outlined against the moon as it was visible through the open windows. His light blue mane flowing in a nonexistent breeze with random streaks of white flying through it almost like lightning. His ocean blue fur visible in places beneath his armor. Eves revere was broken by a pencil and note pad floating in her face wrapped in a aura that matched tempests mane.
"Forgot something did you Eve?" Tempest said smiling warmly at her.
"Thank you uncle Tempest." Eve said smiling sheepishly at Tempest as she took her things in her magical grasp.
"So what did you think of my story Eve?" Tempest said catching Eve by surprise as she looked at him confused and he turned to fully face her.
"What do you mean did I like you're story?" Eve said eying Tempest confused as the gears in her head turned. Then realization dawned on her.
"What does that mean...." Eve said eyeing Tempest as the smile on his face grew larger and larger. "So you really are Storm?" Tempest Chuckled warmly "All in good time little one I’ll tell you about it one day when you are older until then I think it’s time you went to bed." Tempest said as he ushered Eve back out the door and back to her room and let out a long sigh.
"That is going to be one interesting conversation." Tempest said with a chuckle and turned back to the window and Jumped out the window to see to his duties and what ever else the night brings.
