The entrance to the Crystal Caverns loomed in front of the Mane 5, crystals glittered in the sun and Spike was already hard at work trying to pry them away from the walls
"Spike c'mon now, do ya really need all those gems?" Asked Applejack
"It'll help to have snack on the way" Replied Spike, "You can't fight on an empty stomach right?"
"But only you can eat them" Pointed out Rainbow Dash
"I suppose your'e right" Groaned Spike, and dropped all but a small handful "Can I put these in your saddlebag Rarity?"
"Of course dear" Rarity replied
"Now let's go" Said Rainbow, she threw a rope down round Applejack and secured it to the saddle she was currently wearing, meanwhile Fluttershy did the same to Pinkie Pie as she weighed less than the muscular farm pony.
"Ready everypony and dragon?" Asked Rainbow, they all nodded and began to move into the cave
Ed chopped the head off another undead soldier, a spurt of green blood splatted against his face, the soldier fell to the floor only to be replaced by several more, Ed backed up and his back collided with Twilight's she had discovered that most of her offensive spells still worked in this body and was shooting fireballs at the creatures
"They just keep coming!" cried Ed, suddenly he heard a soft click and the wall he had sealed blasted inwards with a rush of fire, a few soldiers were blasted backwards in the process. Once the dust cleared Ed looked towards the hole and there stood Lt. Col. Mustang and Lt. Hawkeye
"Looks like we arrived just in time" Said Mustang, smugly
"What are you doing here?!" Yelled Ed
"Helping" Mustang replied, he clicked and the room around the team lit with fire, all the soldiers fell to the floor, charred
The gold toothed doctor began to look worried "Envy! I require some assistance" He called
"Hello runt" Said Envy, looking in Ed's direction, he continued to scan the room "Hoenheim, so nice to see you, Ah your girlfriend from the other world how cute, and... You... You b*****d Your the one who killed Lust. You can wait FullMetal Runt, I have some business with this one"
"Ed, you take your friends and go on ahead, Lieutenant Hawkeye and I will keep Envy distracted" Ordered Mustang
"But..." Said Ed
"GO!" Yelled Mustang, pulling on his other glove "I have a score to settle"
"you think you can stop us now? HA!" Laughed Envy "You humans really are stupid"

"How does it feel to have your tongue turned to charcoal inside your mouth?" Asked Mustang
"You B*****d!" Cried Envy, leaping for Mustang, CLICK! BOOM! a charred body was now flying towards Mustang, Red lightning flashed and Envy swung a fist for Mustang
"GO!" Mustang commanded Clicking again and Envy's arm crumbled and fell to the floor
Ed ran to the other end of the room and peered through the doors the gold toothed doctor had gone, all he could see was a wide tunnel with a low ceiling, various pipes and tubes lead into the darkness. He waved the rest of the party over, when they arrived he took Twilight's right hand in his left while Hoenheim, Scar and Lan Fan bought up the rear.
