Relief

Something that Medicant Bias hadn't felt for milenias, since his voluntary rampancy and defeat to another AI.

100,000 years ago, he became rampant, he turned to his masters and allied with the flood, causing billions and billions of deaths of Forerunners.

And those 100,000 years ago there wasn't a single thing to do, but think, think about his acts, and the consequences and damage he had done.

Fortunatly, his masters came up with a plan to fight him with another AI, altough it lacked of his creativity and experience, this one significantly more lethal than him, because of his rampancy, he didnt thought of facing another AI during his new war.

Finally, the Halo arrays were finished, and activated, purging all of the flood and all living things in the galaxy, with the exception of the catalogized species on the forerunner dreadnoughts of course.

Offensive Bias broke his Compound Mind and scattered around them, only one piece of him made it to the ark, and other was lost on a forerunner key ship that was later lost, but then found by the Covenant.

The Covenant was a collection of alien species, that looked upon the Forerunners as gods.

This confused Madicant Bias, even though he looked at them as masters, and they could exceed the milenias of age, he knew that they werent Transsentient beigns, unlike the Precursors.

When the Covenant found him, they attached him to some kind of citdel, and they would keep on asking him about the Forerunners and their technology, or as they called it "Holy Relics".

They had a wrong termination of the ascendecy, calling it Reclamation, but infact it was Reclaimer, for only one individual, could lead an entire race to The Mantle.

In 2525, he was "consulted", or rather interrogated by two San 'Shyuum, about the number of "Holy Relics" that could be on harvest, a planet habitated by humans.

He revealed that infact, the Relics, were the Humans, and that all of their faith was based on an old mistranslation, and all of this information could harm in a way all of wath the covenant belived in, and for some reason, they started to attack the humans.

After some time, he informed the Covenant that he had intetions to bring the Reclaimers to the ark, he attempted to leave High Charity by launching the Forerunner ship, however, the launch was delayed as another construct, a human one to be precise, however he managed to launch the ship after the fight, leaving the covenant citael, wich left very damaged the same.

But instead of reaching his true destiny, he was disconected by some Lekgolo, which made the ship crash on eart, wich made Mendicant Bias be carried through the Voi portal, to Installation 00, where the missing shard was finally reunited with the part that resided in the Ark's systems.

Heavily Damaged Installation 00

And now, he was alone.

The Reclaimer managed to activate the Installation 00 and escape in time, but leaving the Installation heavily damaged.

Being an Artificial Construct, he could translate himself on the Ark's system, but because of the current state on the installation, he couldn't do much, he needed a Forerunner sentinel or artifact, so he could translate himself physically and start the repairs.

Fortunatly for him, there was an obsolete war sphenix near his current position, near enough for him to translate himself inside of it, Ignoring the fact that the suit itself was right beofre a Forerunner Portal

Unfortunately for him, it was several feet buried on the sand for some reason.

Before he risked himself, he tried to do a full scan of the combat suit, even though it was obsolete, and it was outdated by the Seekers, it was still a very powerful weapon, capable of sweeping continents and decimating entire cities.

The scan showed that its main weaponry consisted of hard light blades, capability of fly, and a powerfull beam ,similar to an onyx sentile's, that could cut and/or desintegrate foes that could be bigger than the combat suit itself.

But what he saw next, left him confused.

Around the War Spehinx there were around 5 conventional Sentinels and 3 Constructors, but for some reason, between it's wings there was an Onyx Sentinel, wich caught him offguard, by the fact that the Onyx Sentinels were only found at the Onyx Shield world.

After runing several scans on the suit's current status, he confirmed that he should be able to be transferred to the suit without any problem.

Once that he was fully uploaded on the suits memory, just before he could start the combat suit, he started to read some kind of anomalies, right by the side of the War sphinix and the sentinels.

After that, all that he saw was blinding brightness.

Present Day
Unknown location
Forerunner Artificial Planet

Now he was looking at some kind of equine.

Some minutes ago, he was in Installation-00, but just after he uploaded himself on the Combat Suit memory, for some reason, he was on another Forerunner Planet.

But this wasn't a conventional planet, it wasn't a shield world, maybe it was terraformed, and everything else is artificial.

And after he just came out of the depths of the sand, for some reason they started attacking him, damaging one of his sentinels.

Didn't this species know that attacking a Forerunner or his Artifacts were a grave offense?.

Of course they don't, after the Halo arrays were activated, everything alive in the galaxy was annihilated and then repopulated.

But still, even if he had the same ideals that his long gone masters had, they had to be taught to not mess with the Forerunners.

He proceeded to grab the guard that attacked his sentinel with somekind of telekinetic beam, bringing him to what was supposed his eye level.

He thought that the energy that he was beign shot with was plasma, and if this race was advanced enough to manipulate plasma, even though the repopulation of the galaxy, they had to have some forerunner artifacts around, so they could advance to the technological level they have in this moment.

After that he tried to communicate with the guard, trying to investigate why they were attacking him, suddenly a yellow bolt was shot at the head of the sphinix, and then some kind of energy tried to pull the guard out of his grasp, it wasnt strong enough to do so, but he decied to give up on the guard, and let the mysterious force drag him to the sand.

And before he could even introduce himself (or even ask why they were being so hostile), so he could inform them of the damage that they had done, he was abruptly interrupted, again, by a tall equine with wings and some kind of horn in its head that shouted something in perfect Jagon

"Girls, get the elements!" It shouted, somewhat female by its tone

Six of the equines ran into some kind of formation, and before he could ask what they were doing, the artifacts they were weraing started to bright, issuing a very familiar energy.

After that, he ordered all of his sentinels to move out of the way, for he couldn't know what would happen, and if someday he may need repairs.

The 6 equines shooted some kind of bright light, hitting him in the sphinix's chest.

After a couple of seconds of absorbing what he thought was a "plasma beam", the dust that had been raised by the plasma energy dissipated quiclky, he saw the withe equine's smile of confidence dissapear on one of confusion and fear.

Behind of those mineral conglomerations that the 6 equines had been using, Bias identified Forerunner artifacts, powerfull ones, almost powerfull enough to get his shields down, ALMOST.

He speaked, this time without interruptions

"My name is 05-032 Mendicant Bias, I am an artificial construct created by the Forerunners He said in a deep and a little bit distorted voice

After that there was only silence, the only sound that could be heared was the wind and the sand being blown by it.

After a few minutes of entire silence the forerunner ancilla was getting a little bit annoyed.

He had patience but still, he needed answers and he needed them now.

After that he figured that he needed to motivate them to interact with him.

And to achive that he needed either contact their leader... or try a more, harsh approach.

After a few seconds the tall and white equine took a step forward, and yet again, said something in perfect Jagon.

"Who are you?" She said

Medicant Bias was not amused, he already introduced himself, giving them his name, and function.

"As I already said my name is 05-032 Mendicant Bias, and Im a forer- " Medicant Bias said before being interrupted.

"No, I mean WHAT are you?" The equine said taking another step forward.

"You look like a dragon, but at the same time you dont, and Im sure that I've never seen your species before..." She said.

After a quick scan on the white equine and the others behind it, it seemed that these being was genetically more advanced than the other ones (With exception of the purple one).

"What is your name?" Said Medicant Bias turning his head towards Celestia "You seem to be Biologically more advanced than the rest of these equines, with exception of the purple one"

Celestia just smiled at this and proceeded to introduce herself.

"Well I'm-..." Celestia was cut off as Rainbow Dash flew infront of Medicant Bias

"Who in Tartarus do you think you are?!" She said while hoovering in front of his face

"She is Celestia, the ruler of equestria, so you better start showing some respect" Rainbow said with a face of annoyance

"Rainbow!" Shouted Twilight trying to make her friend understand that it wasn't wise to annoy whatever this creature was.

Medicant Bias turned his head once again towards Celestia.

"So you are the ruler of this world?" He asked

"Well, not from this world, but my sister, Twilight and I rule this nation" Celestia said

If she wasn't the ruler of the whole world, then that would possibly mean that there are more sentient species besides these equines, species that have their own rulers, this could be possibly a problem for him to get off this planet, since this meant that most of the species haven't resolved their differences, and could possibly mean that some of them were in search of a source of power to impose their empire or kingdom to others, and they may even see him as that source of power.

Once again he turned to the forerunner glyph on the ground.

"The Base glyph, have you found something else like that?" He asked, his voice echoing on the desert.

"Actually he haven't-..." Celestia was cut off by Twilight

"So you know what that thing is?" She asked, her hoofs clanking against the cold metal the glyph was written in

"What does it mean?, Who did it?, Why does it glow when-..." Twilight's questions were cut off by Celestia

"Twilight!" Celestia shouted "You know what said about bombarding strange ponies with questions"

Twilight blushed with a small smile at this "I'm sorry"

"No harm done, your curiosity is understandable, like yours Celestia." He said turning his massive head towards Celestia

"Wait, how did you-" Celestia asked in confusion

"Since the plasma beam that the six equines shot at me, and you saw how I was unfazed by it your heartbeat accelerated and you have been thinking if I may be a threat, since Im talking with you right now" He said

"H-How did you knew that?" She asked

"It was my job to think like my enemy" he said, taking his gaze to the sun on the sky, remembering the twist that his campaign against the flood suffered.

Twilight, the mane six and even Celestia were confused, first this "thing" came out of the sand, the guards attacked him and then he casted some kind of magic on a guard, Twilight and the girls even used the elements of harmony, the artifacts that remorfed Nightmare Moon and turned Discord into stone, and this so called "Medicant Bias" didn't even flinched when the elements were used on him.

Finally Celestia spoke.

"Um, Medicant Bias?" She said, trying to get his attention

"Yes?" he asked lowering his head towards Celestia

"Well, it's almost night time, and it gets pretty cold on the outside, so..." She said taking a deep breath, and giving her idea a seconf thought.

"*sigh* I was wondering if we could continue this conversation on my castle" As soon as Celestia finished her sentence, the whole camp was filled with gasps and murmurs.

"WHAT?!" Rainbow asked in disbilief and anger

"Princess, with all due respect, ARE YOU CRAZY?!" She said, not caring about what consequences that sentence could bring to her.

Rarity gasped and fainted, Fluttershy hid behind her mane thinking that Rainbow Dash would be banished, Twilight and Apple Jack started shouted something about the possible consequences that this could bring to her and maybe them, and Pinkie Pie tried her best to not to laugh.

"I mean I'm sorry but you can't be thinking about bringing that thing-" She said pointing at the war sphinx. "To Canterlot!, I mean..."

"Rainbow Dash,-" Celestia cut her off "Don't you trust my decisions?" she asked

"No I do but..." Rainbow triend to justify her sudden outburst but Apple Jack cut her off

"Com'n sugar cube, just come back here before you do somethin' stupid... again" Apple Jack chuckled.

"*Grr", Okay" Rainbow Dash groaned, as she gave Medicant Bias one last death glare.

Once that she was back with the girls Pinkie giggled.

"*snort* with all due respect" She whispered.

"Agh, Shut up" She said lowering her head realising what she just said before.

Celestia just stared at the girls with a small smile and then turned to Medicant Bias once again.

"My apologizes for Rainbow's sudden, outburst..." She apologized with a small hint of embarrassment.

"No harm done young one, her suspicion toward me is understandable to..." Medicant Bias said

Suddenly the mantle of tension and/or fear that covered the camp, turned in laughter or giggles, because the creature just called Celestia young one.

Pinkie was rolling on the floor laughing, Rarity for some reason fainted once again, Rainbow Dash was even more angry because of this creature's ignorance, Twilight was writing all the conversation between Medicant Bias and Celestia, and Celestia was blushing with a faint smile.

Medicant Bias was confused, as soon as he finished his sentence, everyone started to laugh, probably at him.

"Was it something I said?" He asked, trying to understand the sudden outburst of laughter in the camp.

Rainbow Was even more angry and frustrated by this, and another out burst came out of her.

"Because she is over 1000 years old you Dumb-Bell!" She declared

"RAINBOW!" All of the mane six (but Fluttershy) shouted at her.

"What?, its true." She said with a dead panned face.

After a couple of seconds of silence with exception of the giggles and the murmurs Celestia finally spoke.

"You are aware time right?" Celestia asked

"Yes, second are conformed by milisenconds, minutes by seconds, hours by minutes, days by-" Celestia interjected.

"Okay I get it, are you aware of your own age?" She asked

"In a way, yes" Medicant Bias answered

Celestia smiled as she took one step forward.

"If it isn't rude to ask, would you mind if I ask you how old are you?" She asked with curiosity.

Medicant Bias started to search in his archives, the thruth is that if it wasn't because every second of his life was being stored in his memory he wouldn't know his own age, for he had more important business to attend, like fighting the flood.

"Well...?" Celestia asked, eager to know his answer

"Ughh, my head, what happend girls?" Rarity asked as she regained her conscience.

"If im correct I was created around 100,000 years old" Medicant Bias revealed

Celstia was caught off ward because of this, her pupils shrank at this, whatever this creature was, it claimed to be older than her, and older than her parents maybe.

Once again the whole camp's ambient changed, all the ponies gasped and started to murmur that either this so called Medicant Bias was either an ancestral creature or a liar.

"Oh no you won't!"Twilight said just before Rarity could faint again and then she shot a spell to her body.

Celestia was deep in her thoughts, she had a big problem in her hooves, this creature already showed that it was powerfull enough to endure the elements of harmony without flinching, that meant that if any of the other world leaders found out about him, they wouldn't think two times of making him their ally to secure a great power source that could maybe enslave the whole world.

"Medicant Bias" Celestia talked to him.

Once that he turned his attetion to her she continued.

"I think that we should continue this conversation on a more private enviroment" She said.

"Are you inquiring that we should continue our conversation at the so called pace "Canterlot"?" He asked?

Celestia just smiled at this, this creature was very intelligent and assertive, something that would make this easier.

"Yes, if there isn't any inconvenient with you ofcourse" She said, praying to her fathers that he would accept.

"Lead the way then young one." Medicant Bias said, making Celestia have a sigh of relief.

"Okay, I'll bring some chariots, bur for now i have to figure out how im going to transport you..." She said placing a hoof under her chin.

Suddenly the ground started to shake once again, making some of the ponies run around in panic, some of them thinking that it was an earthquake, and others thinking the possibility of a second creature.

Then Medicant Bias started to lift off the ground, revealing his tail, and two massive legs.

After a couple of seconds the war sphinix was fully covering the sun, making a gargantuan shadow on what was left of the camp, and he was once again being surrounded by the smaller flying machines.

"HE CAN FLY NOW?! GRAH, THIS IS COW-FILTH!" Rainbow swore

"Rainbow! watch your lenguange!" AppleJack shouted.

Celestia only sighed and she ordered a nearby pegasus guard to bring a couple of chariots with destination to Canterlot.

'At least this is more interesting than the night court' She thought.
