I Will Stand Right Beside You Forever

"Sweetie Bell, Scootaloo! Y'all got your cutie marks!"Apple Bloom cheered happily.

"Yeah we got 'em last night when you were sick in bed,"Scootaloo replied.

"Well I am really happy for y'all!"The school-aged apple pony added.

"Thanks, Apple Bloom! We're gonna go crusading for your cutie mark too!"Sweetie Belle said as Scootaloo nodded.

"Thanks girls you're the best!"The farm filly giggled with joy.

"No problem Apple Bloom! You're our friend after all!"Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle responded in unison.

"Oh you're still gonna be friends with her aren't you?"Silver Spoon asked from a distance. "Better go and tell Diamond Tiara,"

---One Day Later---

"Blank Flank, Blank Flank! You're the only Blank Flank!" Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon laughed as Apple Bloom eyes filled with tears.

"Y'all are horrible!"The farm filly cried as she ran from the school yard and headed home.

"Applejack I've lost my friends!"Apple Bloom yelled as she ran into the farm house.

"Oh, Apple Bloom... Is it about them getting their cutie marks?"AppleJack asked with concern as she walked into the room, thinking about when Rainbow Dash and Rarity had told them about their sisters finally getting their marks.

"Yeah..."The little filly sniffled

"Oh Sugar Cube I'm so sorry," The work horse replied weakly as she pulled her sister into a hug.

However instead of replying to her sister's comment... Apple Bloom just began to sob as her Applejack held her tight.

"It'll all be okay darling I'll help you though all of this,"Applejack added as she hugged the filly some more.

"Thanks, sis..."The little filly managed to choke out.

However little did the sisters now... That it wouldn't be so easy...

NO! WE WON'T TELL SWEETIE BELL AND SCOOTALOO TO STOP!" THEY'RE JUST TRYING TO HELP APPLE BLOOM!"Rainbow Dash roared as Rarity nodded in agreement.

"Fine then! Be that way I'll see ya all around former friends!"Applejack hissed as she turned away from the white unicorn, and the blue colored flyer.

Apple Bloom who had been watching from a little ways from the older older ponies... Began to sob once again as her sister hurried on over to her.

-----Two Months Later---

Apple Bloom paced back and forth quietly in her room. It was a quarter past midnight, and still she could not
sleep. However it wasn't really the young pony's fault; things hadn't been the best for her recently. However, at first
Apple Bloom didn't realize what event might cause a rift in her young life. She had been thinking about some events that had occurred, not too long ago... And they hadn't been nice events either.
Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo had gotten their cutie marks, and Apple Bloom was very excited for them. It wasn't
long however, until Diamond Tiara, and Silver Spoon found out, and from then it went downhill...
Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo became friends with them, leaving Apple Bloom behind, and joined in on teasing her for
not yet having a cutie mark. The filly was so hurt by what her so called 'friends' started doing that she couldn't
focus in school, or do anything fun for that matter.

The only thing that kept Apple Bloom happy since the drama began was AppleJack. Her big sister was right at her
side, helping her with her homework, and even giving Rainbow dash and Rarity a talking to about their little
sister's acts. This unfortunately caused AppleJack to lose two of her beloved friends. Rainbow Dash and Rarity saw
nothing wrong with how their sisters acted, and just told AppleJack that they were just teasing her to help their
friend get her cutie mark faster, but everyone else knew that wasn't the case.
Now, Apple Bloom went to school each and every day alone, and was beginning to know she couldn't take much more of this. That's when the young filly stopped pacing, and went over to her door.
Having gotten herself lost in thought, she began to realize how cluttered her mind was.

"I need to go and see see AppleJack," Apple Bloom thought as she exited her room, and headed for her sister's. When she
arrived at the Mare's room, she opened the door quietly, and walked inside. AppleJack was fast asleep until
Apple Bloom began to make her way over to bed, causing the older pony to awake.

"Apple Bloom, what's wrong?" Apple Jack asked seeing her little sister looked so upset.

"Ah can't sleep ah I can't and ah can't go back to school!" Apple Bloom cried in exasperation.

"Ah sugar cube it'll be alright, you'll see!" AppleJack replied as she jumped out of bed, and walked over to her younger sister.

"No it won't! I lost my friends, and now everyone at school doesn't like me! They won't talk to me! I am a failure…"

"Apple Bloom!" AppleJack snapped as she began to sob.

"Shh, Sugar cube it's okay, it's okay…" AppleJack in the most soothing tone she could.

"No it's not! I caused you to lose two friends you deserve a way better sister than me!" Apple Bloom sobbed.

"Apple Bloom, you're the best sister I could have ever wished for and I want nothing more than to protect you sugar

cube, and make you happy, and you're no failure." Applejack responded.

"Really?" Apple Bloom asked looking up at the older pony.

"Really,"AppleJack replied.

"Ah love ya AppleJack!"Apple Bloom added as she nuzzled her older sister.

"Ah I love you too,"AppleJack responded.

"There's something else I wanna tell ya though," Apple Bloom sighed.

"What it is?"AppleJack wondered.

"A-ah wanna be home schooled ah think it would be better for me right now," Apple Bloom admitted.

"Of course Sugar cube anything you need I'll make sure you get,"AppleJack said.

"Thank you so much!" Apple Bloom cheered as she hugged Apple Jack.

"You're welcome now then I'll go over to your school tomorrow, and talk to your teacher okay?"AppleJack replied.

"Sounds good," Apple Bloom agreed.

"Now how about you stay with me tonight?"AppleJack smirked.

"Yes I could use a good cuddle right now," Apple Bloom pointed out smugly.

"I figured; now come Sugar cube,"AppleJack laughed as she jumped onto the bed. Apple Bloom couldn't help but smile as she hoped onto the bed, and lay down beside her older sister.

"I love you AppleJack," Apple Bloom said as the older pony wrapped her hooves around the younger one.

"I love you too," AppleJack replied as she kissed Apple Bloom on the forehead. With that the young filly fell

asleep, and then the mare whispered a promise in her younger sister's ears.

"Don't worry Apple Bloom I will stand right beside you forever," AppleJack promised her.
