Nemesis
Creatures that appeared from nowhere had torn the town of Ponyville apart. All that was left were the bodies; what was left of them, anyway. A simple task was given to Canterlot's best Royal Guard: return to Ponyville with the Elements of Harmony and assist the survivors.
There were none to be found.
Blaze Tail slowly made his way around one of the buildings. He thought he had heard a voice, but when he called out, asking if somepony was there to make their presence known, there was no answer. Cautiously, he walked up to a side door, lightly tapping on it.
"Anyone there?" he asked again.
No response. He turned around looking at the other end of the building. He did not notice the shadows behind him.
Before he could make another move, something grabbed him from behind, covering his mouth. A sharp pain hit his back and chest. Looking down, he realized what he had been run into as his world dissolved into blackness.
