Some people wish for all the time in the world. Others wish for money or just happiness. But I wished for wings. The funny thing about this is my wish… it came true.
Being happy is something everyone wishes for, for some it comes true others not so.
It was a dark night, the kind without a moon to guide you. As i walked though a back alley way i saw the park a little ways away. A strange feeling came to me like i was being drawn to the park. I let my feet take me towards the park. As i climped the hill i saw as i got to the top. A shooting star and i made a wish just as my mother had taught me. "Star light, star bright the first star i see tonight i wish i may i wish i might grant the wish i wish tonight." Then i thought of what to wish for then a pair of wings came to mind. I decided that, that is what i would wish for. Clenching my fists i screamed out, "SHOOTING STAR IF YOU ARE REAL MAKE MY LIFE CHANGE FOR THE BETTER" a received a couple yells of things i refuse to repeat but i felt better then i had ever felt. Looking at myself i saw nothing had changed i shrugged and started walking back towards the alley i lived in. Before i had even reached the alley i lived in i saw a blinding bright light coming from it.
Running into the alley i saw at the end of the alley were there was usually a solid wall was a blinding blue light. Without thinking i begin to walk towards it. I was so close to this blue light i could almost touch it, reaching my hand out i touched the light and i was sucked into the light. I was falling in this light but as i fell i felt myself changing my hands turned into hooves and my face shifted soon i was a yellow pegasus. Falling out of this light i was in a dark forest, all alone. Shivering on my strange new legs i took one step and i fell. As tears welled up in my eyes i began to cry like a baby. As i cried i saw something looking at me from behind a tree. As i cried harder the creature started to come out. It was a blue pegasus with rainbow hair. She walked over to me as i cried. And lay down next to me. Putting a warm wing over me, i stopped crying and snuggled closer to her. As I fell asleep she motioned to a purple unicorn who was hiding in a bush then i fell into a deep happy sleep.
I gave a small yawn and the blue pony gave me a smile. As she took me up on her back she told the rest of the ponies. “ I am going to take care of this kid for now” then she flew up into the air with me on her back and flew out though the nearest open window and took me up to a soft fluffy cloud and set me down gently then sitting down next to me I snuggled up against her as she folded her wing over me. Then as I fell asleep she asked me “what’s you name kid?” I gave a little yawn and said, “ I don’t know I cant remember” then as I fell asleep she said, “I think I will call you cloud.” And she gave me a nuzzle. I gave a small smile then drifted off to sleep.I woke up and saw the blue pony was still asleep standing up on my legs they felt stronger and more solid. Standing I looked around and saw right below us were a group of filly’s my age they were about to jump off a cliff with strange ropes attached to them. Opening my eyes wide I flew off the cloud and down to them.
As I landed one of the filly’s that was a kind of red velvet in color said “ wow where did you learn to fly like that??” I gave a small shrug and said “ I don’t know I just kinda figured it out” the filly looked at me in awe then said “Well my name is Scotaloo and I see you don’t have a cutie mark either, do you want to join our club The Cuitemark Crusaders?” I gave a grin sure then felt someone land next to me it was the blue pony again. “Hey girls see you met cloud” she said. The girls nodded “well introduce yourselves” said the blue pony again, the girls nodded. The one who was like a red velvet said “I’m Scootalo” then a yellow filly with red hair said “ima Apple bloom nice ta meet ya” then the pink filly said “I’m Sweetie bell.”
I gave a shy smile and said “I’m Cloud” After we all were aquatinted the blue pony told me “Cloud c’mon” then flew up into the air I followed and we flew back to the cloud we had slept on and she said “I’m Rainbow Dash and I am going to be taking care of you” I gave a happy squeak and jumped onto her and nuzzled her cheek. She then said “I have to go work on the weather today so you are going to go stay with my friend Pinkie Pie.” I nodded “ok ” Rainbow dash smiled and said “c’mon” and she dived off the side of the cloud. I have a happy yell and jumped off as well as we flew together we soon reached a house that was in the middle of a small town. Landing together we walked inside. As soon as I saw the inside of this house I knew I would have so much fun. There was cakes staked everywhere and I love cake. A pink pony jumped out of nowhere and gasped when she saw me “OHMYGODNEWPONYPARTY!” Then out of nowhere she pulled out a cannon and began to shoot it. Streamers and balloons exploded from it. My eyes widened as she came back with a huge cake.
“HI YA MY NAME IS PINKIE PIE WHATS YOURS??” she screamed with a happy bounce
I said in a small unsure voice “Cloud” She gave a happy grin “Nice name” she replied then hurried off to the kitchen I suppose. She poked her head out of the kitchen and announced in a voice that I bet all of Equestria heard “IMA MAKE YOU SOME YUMMY CUPCAKES!” then the pink head disappeared. Rainbow Dash looked down at my shocked face and said “don't even try to figure her out its just gona give ya a head ache" I nodded "ok then i will see you later, don't get into any trouble" i nodded then rushed towards the kitchen to help pinkie with the cupcakes.
