after falling from the tree, Gumball was dizzy and his head was spiraling as the dizziness was going through his big cat head. Both the fillies looked concerned and confused at the boy's safety and well-being. "Is he ok?" asked Silver Spoon.
"I hope that we didn't make him injure himself." said Diamond Tiara in a worried voice.
"Mommy, can i have my buttercup?" Gumball said in a silly voice, clearly still dizzy from the impact of the fall, then he fell on his back as the birds were still flying around his head.
"Come on, don't die on me!" said Diamond Tiara, starting to panic that Gumball might be... pushing up daisies. It was just then Fluttershy hovered over to where Gunball was faint.
"Oh my goodness." Fluttershy gasped with her hooves on her face, looking very worried about Gumball's well-being. "What happened to him?"
Diamond Tiara was the first one to speak and said to the sweet, yellow pegasus. "We didn't hurt him. We promise."
"yeah, he fell off the tree."
"Why in the whole world of Equestria were you two chasing him?" Fluttershy was starting to sound like an angry mother again.
"We weren't chasing him!" said Diamond Tiara. "We just wanted to talk to him and we were only running because he ran away from us like a scared rabbit." The yellow pegasus looked at Silver Spoon to see if her own best friend was telling the truth, and Silver nodded her head a yes.
Looking at Gumball again, the boy slowly got back on his feet, and still felt a little dizzy from the impact, but managed to regain his balance. "Gumball, are you ok?" asked Fluttershy as she was helping him keep his balance.
"I'm fine. These girls were about to beat me up."
"What?!" Said Diamond Tiara in disbelief. "That is not true! We weren't going to beat you up."
"we just wanted to know more about you." Said Silver Spoon.
"oh." Gumball rubbed the back of his head. "But you looked pretty angry when you were coming towards me."
"We were mad because you were running away from us." Diamond tiara stated. "If we wanted to beat you up, we would have looked way more mad than that."
Fluttershy gave Diamond Tiara a stern look in her face. "So you girls wanted to get to know him?"
"Yes." Both fillies said in unison.
"but, I... I pranked you guys with that drone before." Gumball said. "I thought for sure you were going to kill me."
"Why are you being morbid?" Asked Silver Spoon. "Besides, before we became friends with them, the Cutie Mark Crusaders have pranked us many times before. Like the time when Applebloom put a pig in Diamond's room, and the pig-"
"Silver Spoon!" Diamond Tiara scolded her bestie. "You swore you would never talk about it again!" She looked really embarrassed by something very humiliating and rather disgusting.
"you know," said Gumball, "I was going to ask what the pig did, but I think I'll not ask."
"Thank you." Diamond Tiara said. "It's not really any of your business anyway."
"Fluttershy, he just ran away from us, we swear to Celestia." Said Silver Spoon
"Ok, I believe you." Said Fluttershy.
"look, we're sorry we scared you, kid. We were just curious."
"Wait, how do I know this isn't a trap for you both to tickle me like the Crusaders did to me at their clubhouse?"
Diamond Tiara made an offended gasp. "Paranoid much?" She pointed.
"Well... those three were pretty convincing to me."
"Look, we won't tickle you." Said Silver Spoon.
"Can we get you a lie detector test at least?" Gumball asked, still looking a little suspicious.
"Oh don't be silly." Said the yellow Pegasus. "Granted, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon have been bullies in the past, but they have changed for the greater good, and helping Diamond Tiara is what gave the Crusaders their cutie marks."
Gumball looked rather amazed. "Really?"
"Yep, they were just blank- I mean, ponies without cutie marks at first, but now they changed for the best." The pink filly pointed.
"So you guys were just looking to be my friends and learn more about me?" Gumball asked
"Yep. We promise." Said Diamond with a smile.
It was silent but Gumball finally said: "ok."
"So we wanted to ask if you can come over to my mansion." Diamond offered. "My daddy wouldn't mind if you came over. Though, my parents do have a strict clean feet policy. Especially my mother. She can be so unbearable at times."
"Ugh, I know how you feel." Said Gumball. "Mum mom can be an unbearable person too. Except she can get pretty nasty when she's mad, not to mention crazy, she might unleash kung-fu or Karate moves on you if she's mad enough."
Both Diamond and Silver began laughing at what he just said. "Oh that's funny." Diamond Tiara wiped a tear from her right eye.
"No, really, my mom is terrifying."
"Sadly," said Fluttershy. "He is not wrong. I have seen how angry his own mother can be, and she desperately needs an anger management counselor."
Then both the fillies' laughing ceased. "But enough of that, sure I can come to your mansion Diamond Tiara."
"Perfect!" She smiled. "Wait, how do you know my name?"
"Duh, my drone?" Gumball said. "It had a camera and a microphone? I forgot that drones don't exist in this world. But I'm Gumball. I know it's a funny name, but that's what I am."
"Why would you be named after a candy?" Asked Silver Spoon curiously.
"Why don't you ask my dad?" Gumball rolled his eyes. "He's... not smart enough to fix the zipper in his own pants."
Making a few small laughs with her best friend, Silver Spoon said: "you're funny, Gumball."
"Yeah, you want to be our friends?"
"Sure. I guess." Gumball said.
"I promise you will love my house." Said Diamond Tiara
"Can Fluttershy come too at least? She's one of the first friends I made here."
"But of course. She is one of Equestria's main heroes after all." Diamond smiled. "But seriously," her demeanor changed to a mildly stern one. "Please make sure your feet are clean or my mother will have a nervous breakdown."
