CHAPTER 4:
The Dream, 2
Authors Note: I am soooooo sorry that I haven't updated this in like a week or two. I'e been busy with real life and that kid of crap. Well, here you go! Enjoy!
*Beginning of Dream*
"So, Fluttershy, what do you want to do today?" Rainbow Dash asked her new mate.
"Oh, I don't know. Wait, I DO know! Can we go see that new movie, Ponymetheus? I hear it's really good... if that's ok that we go." Fluttershy said, rather shyly.
"Of coarse it's ok Fluttershy! You don't have to ask that every time you want something. Just don't go over board like with that whole 'Iron Will' thing, ok?" The rainbow pegasus said playfully. Fluttershy responded with a small "Ok" and they went to go see when the playings were.
"What! Not until 10:00! That's crazy, right Fluttershy?" Rainbow said annoyed. Fluttershy didn't respond. She didn't like it when Rainbow Dash got upset or angry about anything. "Fluttershy, are you ok? You look worried." Rainbow asked to her pegasus.
"Ohh, I'm fine it's just... I don't like seeing you upset about anything. It makes me sad when your angry." Fluttershy responded, thinking that Rainbow Dash would say something such as 'HA, that's all?' or something that would upset her more. Instead, she heard her rainbow pony say...
"Aww, I didn't mean to make you sad. How about we go say hi to the others, ok?" Rainbow Dash nuzzled into Fluttershy's neck, making her smile. Rainbow looked up and saw that she was blushing.
"OK, let's go see Twilight, since her house is right around the corner. And are we going to tell her? About, you know... us?" Fluttershy wondered what her colorful companion would say.
"Maybe tomorrow, OK Fluttershy?" The other pegasus said. "Then we'll tell the rest. Just not until tomorrow, got it?" Rainbow said, trying to make herself sound as clear as possible.
"Got it... Honey." Fluttershy was surprised that she called Rainbow Dash 'Honey' in public, even though there closest friends didn't even know.
"Hey, Flutters. Don't say stuff like that out in public, ok? I don't want anyone catching on before WE tell them. If news spreads that were together and our friends found out, they'll be mad that we didn't tell them first." Rainbow Dash, again sounding very serious said to the yellow pony before her.
"Oh. I never thought of it that way before. I'll do my best to keep my mouth shut... for you. I mean, uhh..." Fluttershy felt stupid, after saying that right after her friend told her not to.
*Facehoof* "This will take some practice." Rainbow Dash said, groaning.
Later that night, after the movie
"Wow, you were right Fluttershy! That movie WAS great! I'm surprised you like movies like that." The amazed, cyan pegasus said, flying a quick circle.
"Well, I knew that if I got scared I would just freak out and it would've been a waste." Fluttershy responded.
"D'aww, thanks Flutters!" Rainbow Dash said, playfully punching her in the shoulder ( very softly as not to hurt her at all.) They started walking away when Rainbow asked "Hey, Fluttershy, did you notice Twilight acting strange around us a couple hours ago, or was it just me?"
Fluttershy stopped dead in her tracks, looking quite worried that she noticed.
"Umm... no? I d-didn't notice anything w-weird about her, why ask that?" She said, it being extremely noticeable that she was freaking out at the sound of her colorful more-than-a-friend.
*At Twilights House, 5 Hours Ago*
*Knock Knock Knock* The sound of hoof against door almost echoed through the lavender mare's treehouse.
"Spike, could you get that?" She said turning to where spike should have been "Spike? Spi-" She noticed that it was only about 6:00, but she saw the purple and green baby dragon, cuddling with his own tail in his basket. 'Oh, he's sleeping' Twilight thought to herself 'he's always cute when he sleeps' she thought again as she noticed a puddle of drool next to his head. "Oh, right, the door!" She exclaimed out load after snapping back to reality.
"Oh, hello girls! Why are you here?" Twilight Sparkle said, smiling at the two. She winked at Flutershy and beckoned them into her house.
"Hi Twilight, were here just to pass time before a movie that Fluttershy said she wants to see. And it's kind of a scary one, so she asked me to go too."Rainbow Dash explained, carefully not trying to give away hits about their relationship. But Twilight already knew. Flutershy told her over the phone before Rainbow woke up the morning after the sleepover. After that she crawled into bed and accidentally woke her up.
The remaining time at Twilights treehouse, they just talked, and the violet unicorn WAS acting weird, because she knew they were dating and she also knew Rainbow was still trying to hide it. Before the two pegasi left, Twilight said in a happy tone, "Good luck Fluttershy!"
*Back to the present (In the dream at least)*
"Are you sure you didn't notice her acting weird Fluttershy? You seem like you're hiding something." Rainbow Dash said to her mate.
"Umm... I-I-I..." Fluttershy was getting very worried by now, about to explode. "I-I... FINE! I told Twilight we were together before you woke up this morning over the phone and she said she was going to tell Pinke and the rest about it and they were going to throw a party in our honor for being in a relationship and I didn't get around to telling you *Deep inhale* and then you told me not to say anyhting about it and I got worried and then-then..." Fluttershy couldn't finish, and she started crying. She looked up at Rainbow Dash, whose jaw was wide open and softly said "I'm sorry." After that she ran off, thinking if she stayed she would be hated forever by the one she loved most.
She ran into the Everfree Forest not knowingly and ran into a gigantic monster she couldn't even recognize. She screamed but the closest one to her was Zecora, and she lived on the complete other side of the Everfree. The last thing she saw was a giant claw coming down at her face. Her life flashed before her eyes, and couldn't stop thinking 'This is all because I told somepony about me and Rainbow.'
Fluttershy awoke with a scream.
