Forbidden Love

Prologue

        
      
  Our story takes place in the magical land of Equestria where a great war has been brewing for over 1,000 years. The land has been split by the draconequus, King Draconerus and the pony, Queen Faust. Before the war, the ponies and draconequuses lived with each other peacefully. The draconequuses have the great power to bend reality and the ponies were given the power to control the natural world. At this point in history everypony was an alicorn and the only things that separated Queen Faust from every other pony were the Elements of Harmony (Honesty, Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Loyalty, and Magic) a gift given to her by King Draconerus and she returned the favor with the Elements of Chaos (Deception, Aggression, Depression, Greed, Betrayal, and Insanity.) By both of these rulers having these gems that give them great power, it would create balance in all of Equestria.
        
        Then everything changed when draconerus used the Elements of Chaos to send Equestria in to ultimate catastrophe where the draconequuses could strive and become very mighty while the ponies powers would become useless. Queen Faust would not stand for this, so she used the Elements of Harmony to create complete normality in Equestria. This than removed the reality bends that the Draconequuses once have lived in. This event began the war that literally split Equestria in half because the elements would draw their powers from the core of the world, so the large use of them created an abyss. The mountain where Canterlot is located got cut in half having the city side on the pony half and the other on the draconequus side. This great gorge expanded into a great divider of Equestria after the elements were at constant use. Inside of the canyon was a blood river since battles would happen daily at The Great Divide which it became known as.
        
        At some point in the war King Draconerus got rid of everypony’s wings and horns besides Queen Faust’s, because she was too powerful. Queen Faust tried to undo the damage, but could only give them half back or nothing at all. This is how we now have Pegasus, Unicorns, and Earth Ponies. In straight revenge Queen Faust removed the draconequus’s ability to adjust with the weather. The next action in the war was the draconequus’s alliance with the dragons, the greatest enemy of the ponies. Luckily the draconequuses also had a great foe, the griffons. This set the stage for the first 500 years or so of the war where nothing changed until the great births.
        
        Queen Faust has been impregnated by the late King McCracken whose life had been taken near the beginning of the war. With Queen Faust being the last of the Alicorns and by having great power it takes up to 500 years for the child to finally arrive. Though against all odds she gave birth to her first daughter Princess Celestia. In some of the weirdest circumstances King Draconerus had a child the same day (Males/Female draconequuses both give birth asexually) to his second son, Discord. He had already had a son 100 years into the war to be raised as a great general his name is Drakeous, but like Celestia, Discord was complete accident. Where these to destined to be together or destined to be mortal enemies?
