In the night starry sky of Ponyville, everything is quiet and peaceful as usual. Every pony is in their beds getting their sleep and not a single noise was being made on that night. Every house is as quiet as it should be, well, all except for one house in the sky which belongs to the one and only Rainbow Dash. Instead of sleeping in her bed after finishing another one of her Daring Do books, She is in her kitchen with one of her friends Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash knows that tomorrow is the beginning of Cider Season. And she also knows that for the past year, she has been plotting to find a way to get more cider this season. But she wants more than that, she found a way to keep some of the cider all to herself. She tried to make some cider for herself, but sadly it didn't turn out the way she had hoped it would. So instead, she plans on stealing it without being caught and she has Pinkie Pie to help her out. "Ok, so here is the plan" Rainbow Dash said to her pink friend trying to get her attention. "The cider barrels will be in the barn, Big Macintosh is guarding the front door. And that's where you come in."
"Okie dokie lokie" Pinkie Pie said while bouncing in excitement "what do you want me to do Dashie?"
"Are you and Big Macintosh are still dating?"
Pinkie Pie giggled a little bit "of course we are silly."
"Good, I need you to lure him away from the front door while I try and loot some of the barrels."
"That's all? Don't worry Dashie, I know just the thing."
Rainbow Dash started to become relieved after hearing that. If Pinkie has something up her hoof, then she know's she can count on Pinkie to get the job done. Before she can continue explaining the rest of her plan, Pinkie Pie bounced out of the house. "I will be right back Dashie, I'm gonna go get my socks."
Rainbow Dash rolled her eye's a little bit "ok, but don't fall off my house."
"Oh Dashie, have you already forgotten? I'm Pinkie Pie."
Meanwhile at Sweet Apple Acres, Big Macintosh is standing in front of the barn door and talking to her sister Applejack. Big Macintosh knew that if she wanted him to stay up all night guarding the Apple Cider then there had to be a reason why. He tried to talk to his little sister "Now come on AJ, I don't see why we need to guard the Cider. No ponies even tried to steal it anyways."
"I know Big Mac" Applejack said to her older brother "but it's not the Cider I'm worried about, It's Rainbow Dash. I mean, we both know how much she loves our family cider."
"Don't worry AJ, I won't let her lay a hoof on a single barrel."
Applejack was pleased to hear that come out of her big brother, if there is any pony she can trust with an assignment like guarding the Cider. Then there is no doubt in Applejack's mind that the right pony for the job. She left Big Mac and headed back inside to wake up Applebloom and Granny Smith for the upcoming Cider Season. This should be easy for Big Mac, all he needs to do is wait ten minutes for the sun to come up and everything was as easy as apple pie. Big Macintosh kept repeating in his head that he can hold on long enough until the sun rises. That was until a familiar voice came out of nowhere "Ohhhh Macky."
Big Macintosh turned his head to see who it was, only to see that it was Pinkie Pie, but she's acting a little different. Big Mac noticed that she has a seductive look on her face and most of all, she's wearing pink socks with black stripes. Pinkie got a little bit closer to the stallion with that same look on her face. "Hey there Macky, I noticed you look a little bit tired."
Big Macintosh started to sweat a little "um, no I'm not."
"There's no need to hide it sweetie, why don't you follow me to an apple orchard far away so no pony can hear us."
"Hear us do what?"
Pinkie giggled while still trying to keep that seductive look on her face "you know what I'm talking about, you, me, in the fields. Getting crazy."
"Um, Pinkie, AJ told me to keep watch of the Apple Cider."
"Oh Macky, you need a big, long, break. And you know what I'm talking about don't you?"
"EEYUP" Big Mac replied as he and Pinkie made their way to the Apple Tree fields so no pony can see them. Rainbow Dash's plan is starting to work as she hoped it would. She got out of the bush she was hiding in and sneaked inside the barn with her cart. She undid the harness around her waist and started putting the next part of her plan into action. She began to load a barrel of cider into her cart, then another and another. Due to how small Rainbow Dash's cart is, she could only fit six barrels into the back of the cart. Now all she needed to do now was sneak out with the cider without getting caught. Everything is going according as she planned, or so she thought. She felt something hit her in the back of her head, it felt like a frying pan. It took her a few minutes to regain her consciousness but she finally opened her eyes. It wasn't what she had expected it to be. She is laying on the floor tied up with rope, and the only pony that was in front of her was none other than Applebloom. Rainbow Dash struggled to break free but the rope had a tight grip on her hoofs. Applebloom leaned her head down a little to try and keep eye contact with Rainbow Dash. "How are you doing Dash?"
Rainbow Dash continued to try and break out of the rope "Applebloom, what are you doing here?"
"Glad you asked." the little filly said to the cyan colored mare "Applejack knew you would think of something to get Big Macintosh away from his post. So I waited for you to get in this here barn so I can hit you with a frying pan and tie you up."
"You didn't tell Applejack I'm here, did you?"
The young filly shook her head "Nope, but if you have any last request then I suggest you tell me."
Rainbow Dash could never believe that Applebloom would give her a final request. In fact, she can use this as a way to buy some time to get out of the rope. She decided to go for it anyway "As a matter of fact, I do have a last request."
"Ok" Applebloom said to the cyan Pegasus "what do you need?"
"A can of Beans."
The young filly raised an eyebrow "What do you want with a can of beans?"
"I forgot to eat breakfast."
Applebloom shrugged a little bit and decided to get her a can of beans anyway, leaving Rainbow Dash all by herself. She left the barn, went inside the house and went into the kitchen. As she went into the kitchen, an unsettling smell entered her nostrils. She didn't know where it was coming from, but she did know that the only pony in the room is her Granny Smith. "Hey Granny" the young filly said to the elderly pony "which cupboard has the can of beans?"
"The one on the bottom shelf" the elderly mare replied to the young filly. Then an unexpected noise came out of nowhere, to Applebloom, she probably knows where it came from. The little filly sniffed a couple of times and covered her nose "jeez Granny, are you farting?"
The elderly Earth Pony shook her head "it was the dog, I swear."
Applebloom rolled her eyes a little bit and got the can of beans from the lower shelf of the cupboard and made her way back to the barn. "Ok Rainbow, I got your can of beans, now what?" The young filly asked the Cyan colored mare. Then she quickly realized that Rainbow Dash is no longer tied up. Applebloom could not believe it, she worked so hard trying to get it tight enough. How could Rainbow Dash be able to break free. Before she could say anything, Rainbow Dash used the rope and quickly tied up her four hooves, leaving the little filly tied up on the ground.
Rainbow Dash grabbed the can of beans with her mouth and tossed it in the back of the cart with the barrels of cider. She put the harness back on her waist and started running like there was no tomorrow. The red haired filly started screaming "APPLEJACK, GET OVER HERE!"
Without any hesitation, Applejack rushed into the barn to see what was the matter. It was as she feared, Big Mac is nowhere to be found, Applebloom is tied up and the sunrise is already here. Applejack sighed a little bit "Let me guess, did Rainbow Dash get away with some cider?"
The red haired filly gave her sister a reply "EEYUP."
"Alright Applebloom, when I untie you, I need you to get the keys. We don't have a lot of time left."
On the streets leading from Sweet Apple Acres to Ponyville, Rainbow Dash is running for her life and trying to get away. She needed to think of something fast, she thought that maybe if she can hide the cider, than Applejack wouldn't know that she did take them. And Applejack would probably think that Applebloom was just tattle tailing on her. Of course she can fly so she can go a little bit faster, but if she did, than the barrels of cider might fall out of the cart. At least her plan is going as good as she thought it would, or so she thought.
Right behind her, she hears the sound of an engine roaring and tires moving. It's a lot louder than a normal car would make, she is just hoping that Applejack isn't chasing her on a monster truck. But sadly, that is exactly what it is. Rainbow Dash turned her head to see that she is being chased by an orange monster truck with 24 ft tires and apple stickers on the bumper. She saw in the window shield that Applejack has that seriously mad expression on her face. Applejack rolled down the window and yelled "GIVE ME BACK MY CIDER!"
The cyan Pegasus was starting to sweat a little bit, she just couldn't believe that her friend would chase her with a monster truck. Normally ponies can't drive cars unless they were specially made for ponies to drive in. And that's exactly how the Apple Family's monster trucks are made. Rainbow Dash tried to run as fast as she could to outrun the oversize truck. But the orange monster truck was too close on her tail. She had no other option, it's either she flies with the cart full of cider barrels, or she gets flattened by a giant orange truck. She took her chances, she started flapping her wings and took to the sky. Applejack stopped the monster truck and threw her hat on the ground out of anger. She knew that it would have to come to the situation that Rainbow Dash would use her wings. Applejack got out of the monster truck and turned her head to her little sister "APPLEBLOOM!"
"Yeah sis?" The young filly asked the orange mare.
"Get me my Red Bull." Without question, the little redhead filly gave her sister an open can of Red Bull. Applejack began drinking down the contents within the can, and threw it on the ground. At first she felt a growing pain in her back, but then that back pain grew into a pair of wings. Applejack flew up into the air with her new found wings and blocked Rainbow Dash's path. Rainbow Dash's mouth was hanging low. She shook her head a little bit "How did you get wings?"
Applejack chuckled and gave her a reply "With the power of Red Bull my friend."
"That actually gives you wings?"
The orange mare gave her a reply "eeyup."
Rainbow Dash sighed a little bit, disappointed that Applejack will follow her around now that her orange friend has a pair of wings. She flew down to the ground and removed the harness around her waist. Applejack flew down and stood next to her friend "what's wrong Rainbow?"
Rainbow Dash gave her friend a sad look "I'm sorry I stole some of the cider, it's just that Cider Season comes once a year and I thought I store some for myself and share it with you and the girls."
"Aw shucks Rainbow, you could have just told me in the first place, I would have understood."
"I guess you want to ban me from Cider Season this year."
Applejack wrapped her hoof around her neck "Actually, I got something better in mind."
Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow "what is it?"
"You will see."
The sun is high in Sweet Apple Acres as a line of ponies are waiting patiently for their mug of Apple Cider. Standing next to the counter giving the cider, is a dunk booth that says "dunk the rainbow". Inside the booth is Rainbow Dash sitting patiently for some pony to throw the ball at the target. Reason why is that in the booth is not water, but a gallon or two of Apple Cider, or so she thinks. "Step right up every pony" Applejack said to the line of ponies "for every mug of cider, you get to dunk Rainbow Dash."
Twilight approaches the front counter and pays for a mug "You ready Rainbow Dash?"
Rainbow Dash grew a big smile on her face "you bet your flank I am!"
Twilight used her magic to raise one of the balls and shot it at the center of the target outside the booth. Rainbow Dash fell into the liquid, at first she was excited and took a small gulp of it. But then realization hit her, this isn't Apple Cider. "Hey Applejack, Isn't this supposed to be Apple Cider?"
Applejack grinned a little bit "Well, since you stole my cider, I figured you should wait for tomorrow to get dunked in Apple Cider."
"So if this isn't Apple Cider, then what is this?"
Applejack giggled "Apple juice."
Rainbow Dash's draw dropped "but I thought you said I was gonna get dunked in Cider."
"I lied."
