Everypony went silent. Twilight was staring, Rarity was staring, Applejack was staring, and Pinkie Pie wasn't even eating any of her sour gumdrops. Fluttershy had never looked so surprised in her life. Her cheeks were pinkier then pinkie pies mane. Her mane was somewhat covering her right eye, and then she broke a tiny smile, looking down at the ground.
Twilight and Rarity started whispering, then brought in Applejack and pinkie in the whisper.
"I think I should go put spike to bed." Twilight said walking out of the room.
"I think I left my sleeping cap in my bags in the hall." Applejack said walking out of the room.
"I should go to the bathroom and brush my teeth." Rarity said walking out of the room.
"I need to go get more gumdrops!" Pinkie squeaked hopping out of the room.
The only two ponies left in the room were the love birds, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.
The two pegasi were silent and blushing for a solid 5 minutes. Until Rainbow Dash broke the silent.
"I-I can't hold it in anymore Fluttershy.." Rainbow said, reaching to her crush and brushing her mane out of her eyesight.
"I have never had a friend as awesome as you... I realized that tonight.. when I broke my wing.." Rainbow said, not loosing eye contact with the blushing pegasus.
Rainbow continued. "Your beautiful, your kind and caring, it got to me at your confession, you will always lend a hoof, especially is theres a pony in need of mental care or cheering up, your also smart and would make a perfect doctor. When you applied the ointment on my wing.. I felt a tingle go through my body.. and I started blushing.. I couldn't help not staring into your beautiful green eyes all evening. I felt the love. I felt like I've never felt before..." then Rainbow stopped, going closer to Fluttershy, and finally, Rainbow said the words. "I.. I love you Fluttershy.."
Fluttershy listened, her cheeks were so pink from blushing. And as the last words were spoke from the blue pegasus, Fluttershy took a move that she will never regret. She leaned in, and gave Rainbow Dash a kiss on her cheek.
Rainbow Dash felt the tingle rush through her body, and couldn't believe what just happened. Fluttershy reached over and hugged Rainbow Dash tighter then any of Pinkie Pie's hugs.
"I-I've been waiting for this day ever since I met you Dashie.." Fluttershy said looking into Rainbows eyes. "Your the most amazing pony I've ever met.. I've always loved your rainbow mane and your amazing personality.. we may be different but that will never change the way I feel about you dash. I love you to."
After the words were spoke by the two pegasi.. they found that they were floating in the air. They both reached for the other and hugged. And then, just as the others peered through the door, they kissed passionately.
"Love is in the air" Twilight said, putting her arm around Pinkie, and pinkie put hers around rarity, and rarity put hers around Applejack.
"They're the cutest couple ever." Rarity whispered
Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash slept in Twilights bed that night, and in the morning, the found themselves hugging. They kissed once more, and said simultaneously "Will you marry me?"
