PROLOUGE
As the alarm clock buzzes, Silver Sceptere grunts and smashes the snooze button. After about two minutes lying in bed he finally opens his hazel colored eyes. The first thing he sees is the ceiling fan, slowly spinning. He puts his hoves down on the newly laid bed sheets and pushes himself up and to the side of his bed, throwing the covers aside. He sits there for a couple seconds staring at the white cloud shaped birthmark on his back right leg then looks up at his desk by the window. It is covered in boxes labeled bedroom, which is usual for a pony who just moved to town. As he sits there at the side of the bed he realizes he doesnt have to report to work for the next two weeks. He lets out a big grin and giggles, waking his cat sleeping in his kitty condo. He doesn't notice his yawning cat staring at him and heads to the bathroom. He flicks on the light and turns on the sink. After splashing himself with water a couple times he looks up and stares at the orange colt staring back at him in the mirror. He picks up his hair brush noticing that hes got a bad case of bed head. After he styles his lusious brown hair he looks back up at himself and gives himself an ego boosting pep-talk.
"Aw, yea! Today is going to be great." he says to himself with a smug look plastered on his face.
"I'm going to have some fun tonight."
He's talking of course about the party this mare Pinkie Pie is throwing at the center of town. The invitation he got in the mail said everypony was invited, and he hopes it is just as good as Nightmare Night 2010. Music, food, and fun party ponies, like himself, but the party started at nine tonight, so he is gonna try to make some new friends before the party.
His cat Shorty hopped up onto the counter in the bathroom and meowed as loud as he could.
"Aw, I love it when u meow." He says as Shroty rubs up agains him.
"I'm guessing you're hungry"
Shorty hops off the counter and heads for the kitchen. Septere follows behind the hungry cat expecting to throw some waffles in the toaser before he pours cat food in the cat's dish.
After a couple of hours watching TV and washing up. He exits his apartment and heads into town.
