Rainbow Dash

Back in ponyville, the last screams of an over dramatic unicorn woke a small orange Pegasus. She had once been dreaming of the sweetness of flying buy her hero but now she was wide awake. Just in time to see her hero fly past her window with her dear friend on with a small white unicorn on her back. Scootaloo jumped out of bed and ran downstairs, grabbing her scooter as she ran out the door. She started speeding in the direction she saw the two ponies go until she approached ponyville hospital. There she saw her hero in the window talking to a doctor. Scootaloo hesitated before heading in. What could be wrong with Rainbow now? She made her way in and ran over to a bed where her friend layed fighting at the doctors as they tried to give her a shot.
"Sweetie Bell? What's going on?" Cried Scootaloo as she stood by her friend.
Sweetie Bell took the opportunity to grab the orange filly and pull her close all the while bleeding constantly from her leg wound. "R-r-Rarity my s-si-sister." She cried as the doctors pulled her off Scootaloo. Rainbowdash ran past with some guards as they took flight. They were heading for Rarity's house. Scootaloo looked back at Sweetie Bell to see her being sedated. She would get nothing from her right now, only Rainbow Dash could answer her. She grabbed her scooter once again and took off after her idol.

The crowd of ponies began to swarm as she drew closer to Rarity's home, she tried to get in close as she saw Rainbow Dash began to take off again. She looked back at Rarity's before she spun around with a gasp. She saw it, the body. The blood the horror of the night’s event. She had to get Rainbow now more than ever. She pushed further trying to catch up to the zooming Pegasus. She zoomed down the street to a giant castle in the town. The door was open, so she just proceeded into the home of the small-town Princess. She froze to see a mutilated corpse of small green and purple dragon. She nearly screamed but nothing came out. She cried as she ran to search for Rainbow Dash, she needed her right now. The only pony that would hold her.
She ran down the halls past a few guards who turned to see her zoom past her scooter still at the front door. The guards began to chase after the filly trying to call out to stop her. Scootaloo didn't hear them she just ran for the blue pegasus that she held so close to her heart. She ran straight not even noticing her in the crowd of guards surrounding the library. She ran in as she heard the raspy voice of her hero cry out.
"NO SCOOTALOO!"
Too late, Scootaloo ran right into the horror of Twilights corpse. Blood spread everywhere. She stood and stared for a moment before the voice she had been searching for all night finally came out. She screamed as loud as she could. She pushed and kicked as a blue hoof pulled her away from the scene. Rainbow Dash Pulled Scootaloo's head toward her chest and pressed her lips against the soft mane of her friend. Tears rolled down both their faces. "Don't look Scootaloo. Don't look." Rainbow Dash cried as she began to walk the filly away from the library.
The guards ran in to help carry the two weeping friends away from the scene. Rainbow never let go of the orange pegasus filly, as she answered several questions coming from the guards. Scootaloo had zoned out only focusing on the soft coat of the mare that held her.
Rainbow Dash flew Scootaloo back toward Ponyville hospital so she could rest with her friend. She would then go and see how Applejack was doing. Once they arrived at the hospital however Rainbow began to feel the weight form the day on her wings. She sat back and layed with her friend who she truly knew as a sister. She fell asleep in the room with Sweetie and Scootaloo.
She woke up to a loud high-pitched scream. ‘Oh No.’ She thought. ‘Not here please.’ The sounds of screaming doctors and nurses however confirmed what she thought. Scootaloo and Sweetie woke up too. Sweetie Bell let out a scream from the familiar screams she heard only a few hours ago. Rainbow Dash walked over to cover her mouth.
They stayed silent for about two minutes listening to the dying screams of the doctors and nurses. Scootaloo absolutely terrified at what could send her hero and her friend into such panic. The door to the room finally open gentle letting light form the hall fill the dark room. There was no one there. Rainbow confused but scared pick up the still injured filly and placed her on her back. When from the silence came a soft sound of thuds making its way into the room.
Rainbow looked expecting a pony but got much worse than that. In rolling was an apple covered in blood. Sweetie Bell screamed again and Scootaloo cried but was unsure what it fully meant. Rainbow Dash however knew exactly what it was and she just stood there. Frozen. She stared at the apple until Scootaloo screamed and pointed at the ceiling. Rainbow looked up to see pink crawling upside down her head appeared on backwards looking down at them, smiling.
Rainbow pushed Scootaloo and darted out of the room behind her. In the hall was not any better. There were bodies and blood everywhere blocking the way to the front door. Rainbow looked the other way and saw a set of stairs that lead to the roof. Perfect. She can fly them down. As they tried to run for it though, Rainbow was pulled back extremely painful force in her wing. Making her scream and drop Sweetie Bell on the ground. The teeth of this monster were ripping her wing apart. Scootaloo turned and gave the beast a hard buck in it face. Shocking it and forcing it to the ground.
Rainbow once again picked up Sweetie and gave a small screech as she put her back on her back. They ran to the roof and closed the door behind them. Rainbow held the door shut and looked at her wing. It was nearly off her body! She would never get them down now! She looked desperately for answers. The monster on the other side started pounding on the door.
She took a good looked at Scootaloo. “Scoot grab Sweetie and fly now!”
Scootaloo just stared shocked. “Rainbow I-I can’t fly. Applebloom was right I am a dodo.”
“Don’t you dare kid! Look the only thing holding you back from flying is you! You have too much self-doubt in yourself and it is bringing you down! Now clear your head grab Sweetie and jump off this bloody roof or I will push you myself!” She said trying to be encouraging.
Scootaloo close her eyes and picked up Sweetie Bell. Rainbow watched as the orange filly she loved look back at her for one last glance of reassurance. Then she leaped. She flapped her wings and closed her eyes ready for impact. But none came. Scootaloo looked back at her hero and smiled.

“Excellent job buddy. I am so proud of you!” She said. But no sooner had those words left her mouth did the door collapse on top of her. Scootaloo looked at her hero being torn apart as she screamed. “FLY NOW SQUIRT!” She screamed. Scootaloo now in tears accepted her orders and headed off. She had never flown before but she knew which way she needed to go. Canterlot!
