I think it's got promise, especially with that premise depending on how you take it. You could explore so many avenues of the protagonist trying not to buck up the timeline, or at least not bring total annihilation to the world. All the while at the same time trying to make a living as a nopony, no papers, no(or few) friends, no name, nothing but another background to the eyes of them all.
