Part 2 with sunny please by any chance
A second chapter with Sunny would bookend this very nicely to a message of hope and resilience. The story works with its grim sadness and good worldbuilding - the cause of the fall is simple and effective - but it does feel incomplete given that we know things do indeed get better.
Regardless, a tragic and hard-hitting story in a small package, answering two of the unanswered questions of G5. thank you for it.

Wow, was really dark and sad, but with a possible hopeful ending, which I realized from the comments, was added later thankfully.
Hopefully the Mane 5 can some day bring the light back to AJ.
If you do continue, it would be interesting to see AJ in sort of a off standish mentor to Sunny. One who doesn't really want to get involved, but her good nature thats still buried deep down forces her too.
An ending with danger, but also with hope. Maybe AJ will sabotage things, maybe she'll be brought gradually back into the light. I feel it completes the story much better than just with the lone chapter, thank you for writing it.
