Fluttershy finds herself haunted by a measly word when she gets lost in the middle of her favorite woods. That word was 'draconequus' and after she finds a hurt one, she tries her hardest to help him. A friendship Fluttershy cherishes almost more than her other friendships blossoms, and she doesn't know how anything could go wrong.
Except maybe her Princess friend from a pony world saying there's a magical imbalance on the same day Discord decides he's too bored without Fluttershy around and turns himself into a human so he can attend her school.

You know what's lame? Human Twilight Sparkle has a separate character tag from Princess Twilight Sparkle, yet none of the other Equestria Girls do. Based on the description, I think it's the Human Fluttershy that this story is about, yet I can't be completely, 100% sure. I guess it would make sense if Ponyshy rejected Discord in the Ponyverse.

Well, this is rather laid-back for a first contact scenario. Discord with amnesia is probably a dick, because he won't remember his friendship with the other Fluttershy. It also explains why there's a romance tag on this story, if this is strictly Human Fluttershy he'll be interacting with.
I know when Fluttershy relays her tale to Sunset it's just gonna be epic to see the look of horror slowly dawn on her face as she realizes Discord has been freed. Her plans for the Chaos Pocalypse will begin!
I have a bit of a question. The Discord in this story, is he from Equestria and has amnesia, or someone else entirely? Also, when is this story set?

The Discord thing will be revealed later in the story (like 3 chapters later) and is actually sort of an important plot point, sorry, I want it to be shown in the story. But when the story is set will also be revealed later but that might be for a while before it is revealed and isn't that important, so it's set after Rainbow Rocks and the Dazzlings and before The Friendship Games and SciTwi.
