    a much needed update

Damn it's been a hot minute since I've showed any signs of life on here, huh? I was encouraged to pop my head back in my one of my best friends in the world, and after seeing that I'd gotten some unread private messages asking about continuing Midnight Radiance, I think she was right to tell me to give you all an update.

    They did my boy dirty

You know what's a good motivator to come back to writing? Spite.

You know what's also a good motivator? Checking in and seeing all the wonderful feedback and validation.

You know what's even better? Both of those things combined.

    Hello, everyone...?

I'm not sure who all on here still reads blog posts, but I have been told by a few people now that there has been questions going around regarding updates on Midnight Radiance. So I came back to clear up a few things.

    1. Buying a first house and moving in has been an experience.
    2. Juggling three part-time jobs is an experience as well (and not exactly a good one, haha.)

    She liiiiiivvvves!

And now for something completely different, a blog post! Been a while since I posted one of these, huh? I'm actually using my phone to write this, so I apologize in advance for spelling and grammatical errors that may occur.

To drop a LoEG quote on you, "hello my freaky darlings~." I'm making this post to address three things.

So you all know, I am not dead. · 8:15pm Apr 2nd, 2014

Sorry for the recent silence, but I've taken a bit of a sabbatical for several reasons. Not the least of which is the fact that one of our roommates has been out of a job since last December, and as I'm the only one in the apartment with two jobs, I've been having to work a lot more often and I've been trying to work through stress and anxiety as a result.
In any event, things are calming down enough that I'll start logging in more often, that I can tell you. After all, I need to catch up on "Somber Ties," "A Filly Called Pet," and "Northern Lights." ;3 Plus I'm sure that a lot of you are probably wondering when I'm going to post the next chapter of "Lingering Shadows." I'm not going to lie, I'm biding my time, as I want to finish the next THREE chapters for the story, and set up a more proper update schedule for it, so I can kick myself into gear as I ought to.
And before I log off, please let me say a most hearty thank-you to everyone who has started following "Lingering Shadows" and/or me, as well. It really means a lot to me, and I'm honored by how much you are all enjoying my story enough to add it to your favorites.

Glad you're still around. Looking forward to more from you.

There you are! I thought maybe your laptop blew up and you had no way of getting online.
I know what you mean about life getting in the way. My workplace fired more than half its staff since the last time we wrote to each other. By the end of the week, I'm too pooped to write.:raritycry:
I'm very glad to see you back. Let's hope there will be less drama for you this year.

You deserve the attention girl

1978177 You know, that actually DID end up being the fate of the laptop. I wound up having to get a new computer to replace it, because the company that I took it to in order to get it fixed wound up destroying it. At least they reimbursed me for it? :twilightsheepish:
Oh my gosh, I know that feeling! We've wound up having so many people either quit or get fired that I've been getting overtime at my main job. It's getting exhausting.
And thank you, Eskerata! Here's hoping that this year in general is less of a hassle for everyone!
