Weird Sensitivity · 11:52pm May 2nd
In itself, I always was someone who was a bit more touch-sensitive. It isn't exactly a feeling of being tickled, but especially when I get touched by surprise, I twitch quite aggressively or slap the hand away.
Anyway, as over the last days a fever struck me and I was laying the whole day in bed wearing a pullover, a new "sense" notified itself to a kind of—feeling? tickling? Not exactly tickling, but close to it—whenever a cloth piece touches it. Around the throat/chest region, right where the chin would touch when you lower your head as much as you can.
It isn't exactly new, I noticed it before when I had been wearing scarfs, but I guess having noticed it before accummulated to noticing it even in a smaller sense. But now it kind of evolved to noticing it way too much.
Like, sure, the pullover I had had some firm pads around the neck, so it laid in that region, but now I feel it even when wearing just a T-shirt! The uncomfortable sensation doesn't last forever, walking around and doing something else distracts me from it, but once I notice it back, it's difficult to tune it off.
It isn't tickling, but close to it, and it annoys me quite a bit. I guess I will have to wait it out until it devolves back (wouldn't be the first time some quirks came and went), but I guess I just wanted to vent it a bit off
Hey, I'm all for random vents. That's exactly the type of thing I would post.
Alright Kuzco. Lol

Was there a scene with Kuzco where he had something itchy or why that comparison?

There is a scene in the movie where he gets touched by surprise and slaps the hand away. It's in the beginning of the movie.
Hm, interesting. I've had this exact sensitivity for as long as I can remember. Didn't seem like something that could develop spontaneously.
It's the reason I can't wear shirts with tight collars, even T-shirts, though it's less annoying with scarves.

I don't think it's something that "developed spontaneously", but more like an… placebo thing? Maybe the prolonged exposure made me now notice it even in the amount I usually tune off/ignore—kinda like noticing once how a teacher/presenter says "ehm" and then hearing it everytime.
Still weird. I tend to generally look out for clothes that feel the same/are similar and then wear them like forever, so there could be the factor of avoiding uncomfortableness from the beginning, so I don't know

So I'm a king. Where is my kingdom?
