The State of the Sundagioverse · 11:03am April 10th
It has been a long while since I have made an update like this over my main series as a whole. Almost two years. Last time I made a post like this, I had not even written That Warm Smile. However, I think it is about time to tell you what is happening with the Sundagioverse.
A Dazzling Trio is almost done. Only about six or so chapters left of this story are left. This story is the end of an arc for the Sundagioverse. This arc is all about Adagio's reformation and falling in love with Sunset. However, this is not going to be the end of the universe as a whole. Rather, it is going to be treated as an end point where you can jump off if you don't want to read anymore. Any loose ends will be tied up here and then a new arc will be started with its own side stories.
Since we are so close to the end of this arc, I suppose I should let you know what the next one is about. This next arc is going to be all about establishing a new normal. Now that Adagio's life has been turned around, what happens next? Change. A lot of change. This arc is going to be all about how Adagio, Sunset, and all their friends adapt to their new lives. Some good changes. Some bad. From A Dazzling World to A Dazzling Trio, we have seen roughly about three and a half years of their lives. This new arc will feature another two years of our favorite characters and their misadventures. There will be a little more magic plotlines in this arc, but it is still a slice-of-life story throughout. So, I suppose I should answer a few questions you might have.
Who is the main character?
Adagio. While there will be side stories about other characters, Adagio has been and will still be the main character of this universe. Why is she the main character when her reformation is already done and her relationship with Sunset is done? Well, it is simple. Adagio's life isn't done. There are still changes that are going to happen in her life. While she may be reformed, she now has to find her place in this world, carving her own notch. Her character growth isn't done simply because she has been redeemed.
How long will this arc last?
Not as long as this first arc. At least, I hope not. I do not have as big of an idea for this arc as I did with the first one, so I am not expecting it to be as big. I mean, if that is the case, the series would be well over 1 million words. I hope this arc will not be nearly 500k words.
Is Sundagio a main part?
Despite the fact that Adagio is technically the main character, Sundagio is undoubtedly the main part of this series. It is my favorite thing of all time and I still have plans for Sunset and Adagio's relationship. So, in short, yes.
What side stories can we expect?
Well, the short answer is multiple. I have one planned for Rainbow Dash, a couple ideas for characters like Apple Bloom and the other sirens, and possibly a story about sci twi. All of which would add towards the overall story.
Do you actually have an end in mind, weirdo? I'm tired of reading
Yes. I have an end in mind that I am committed to. While it may be a while before we get there, I promise I am not stringing you all along just to get views. There is an end to this story that I have spent years thinking about and I think it perfectly ties off the narrative I have been crafting. XD
Are there any hints we can have about the future?
I will give you two hints~ Music and finding your place.
