Max is leader of the Shining Force and the Hero who defeated Dark Dragon. A great evil threatens the land of Equestria. A new hero comes to help but first he is going to need to figure out how to fit in. Oh and how do use a sword with hooves.
A note about tags etc. This tale will come in acts. The first act in particular will be slice of life for character development. The later acts will have more action and adventure. So please do be patient as the action will mostly come later and the romance probably even later. This story is set after season one with the events of season two occurring differently. This is my first piece of fan-fiction. I would appreciate any constructive comments that are given. I do ask that you remain civil.

Primarily off of the original, However, I am taking at least one addition from other Shining Force games. Max can use bolt magic in addition to egress, as every other hero from every other shining force game could. Also, I prefer to think of Dark Dragon as a profound evil and not bio weapon gone wrong (ie original vs remake).

Mostly, it just fleshed out 'your' character, as well as Kane. On a side note, you could try to get the rom of the GBA version and an emulator (I myself prefer VBALink), and play it that way.

The change in the title of the sword is a reference to Shining force 2. Where that is the name of the sword. And if you are familiar with the story you would know that it is the same sword as revealed in Shining force final conflict and Shining force 2 in Mitula's temple. However, I will just say that the name of the sword may change to its true name at point in the story.

Ah, yes. That is right. It was just a very minor thing. I had only wondered why you changed it, because 'Chaos Breaker' is a better name than 'Force Sword' (at least, in my opinion). I wasn't upset or mad it was changed, just curious. I haven't played SF Final Conflict (New game to find out about!). Seeing as how you named it [the sword] that, will there be a connection to Shining Force 2? Because Shining Force 2 is the only Shining Force that is a connected Sequel (according to wiki). I mean to say, the stories are connected thanks to Final Conflict, even though the stories are about different evils.

Shining Force is a good Strategy game to start out playing with, because it isn't a Real-Time Strategy, meaning you can learn how to play with no time constraints.
