It's been a few months since Ponies and Humans started coexisting in harmony, and that's given ponies a decent amount of time to pick up some new and interesting hobbies from their human friends - one of which being the automobile. Try as she might, the weather's just not Rarity's medium.
Set during the events of Magical Mystery Cure.
What happens to ponies when they die? Do they go to a good place? A bad one? Somewhere in between? Twilight hasn't been sure, but now that she's here... Well, she frankly still isn't sure.
Written for the Quills and Sofas "Coffee Shop AU" speedwriting contest. Published at the behest of Zontan. The author bears no ill will to any of the mentioned franchises and asserts they were merely the easiest ones to make horse puns out of.
Hearth's Warming is a wonderful time of year for most ponies. Getting together, singing, eating traditional foods, seeing old friends… and family.
But when that family is broken, or trying to heal, sometimes things can be a little harder.
Written for Admiral Biscuit, who requested some slice of life flavored with secondary background pones, as his Jinglemas 2023 gift! These may not be the most obscure, but theirs is a burgeoning family dynamic that I appreciated seeing. Cover art by mlplary6, source in image.
