I'm going to be posting this one on the blog too.
I just wanted to say that there are no hard feelings from the comments. It is encouraging that you care enough about the story and its premise to voice your negative opinions. That said, I have decided to rewrite it after a friend called me out for some bad habits. I'm notorious for trying to mesh ideas together. What got me was that if I could lift SMARRT out of the story, would the story still make sense? Quick answer. Yes. Long answer, Maybe? I have to rework the story direction now. I had an initial outline, but I've got to throw that out the window right now. Maybe I'll do a different story on S.M.A.R.R.T. at a later date. For now, I have to rewrite it and find new ways for Comet Tail to die.
Jokes on you. I'm into that shit.
Good on you for being willing to rewrite the last two chapters for the story's sake. Looking forward to the revised version!
It's just a pity that a whole lot of comments got nuked in the process.
I didn't even think about that. I can still see it from my end. Maybe I should post this blog as a chapter so people can comment freely?

Oh, you can still see the comments? I think that means you unpublished the chapters instead of deleting them outright.
If that is the case, the comments should reappear with the chapter when you republish them. However, the downside is that the republished chapters will not get another bump in the 'updated' stories section. Not sure if people who've bookmarked the story will get notifications, either.
You might have to ask a moderator how that works. It would be a shame if followers didn't get any notifications for the rewritten chapters.
I think that's against the rules. Only actual story content can be published as stories/chapters.
