Crossover with Dot and the Kangaroo (1977), causing 90% of readers to respond “Who and the What?” and 10% of readers to respond with “MacPherson?” To the former: The character I originally created ended up so similar to this obscure character that I decided to merge them; you don’t need to have seen the source material. And to the latter: The rhythm of the title required a last name, and you can’t say for sure that Dot’s last name isn’t MacPherson.

This lost me because it was basically a huge rambling narrative. Need to tighten up the prose here; I essentially got tired of reading this.
Which sucks because I grew up with Dot and the Kangaroo. The Bunyip song gave me nightmares.
I'm intrigued. I have a lot in my read later already though, so it may be a while before I get here.

Fascinating stuff. I have zero familiarity with the other side of the crossover, but this was still an endearing tale of Twilight doing what she does best. Thank you for a delightful read, with some potent emotional hits that never crossed the line into melodrama.
