In the depths of Tartarus, Starshine has worked hard, diligently helping those trapped understand what they did, why they were there and how to find the Path of Harmony once again. One by one the cages were opened and the fiends within sent home to the Otherside. Her work is almost done.
Almost, because five very special creatures remain. The Lost Causes. Tirek, Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, Sombra, the Storm King. When even Faust herself tells Starshine there is no way to redeem such souls, the Princess of Redemption makes a choice and undergoes a massive transformation. Her greatest task is now before her; redeeming the Lost Causes. To do so, she will become what Equestrians fear the most.
EDIT: 5/18/19 This story was created before season 9 was announced. Sorry, but Grogar did not exist in gen 4 at the time. He will not be in this Book.
This is my sequel to What the Future May Hold. Starshine is off on a new endeavor to complete the task given to her on her coronation as Princess of Redemption. What awaits? Let's find out together.

Chapter 2- An Alicorn Reborn is published and ready to read. Starshine has hatched a plan. After a few *ahem* Kinks it seems to be coming true. The question is will the cost be worth it? Only time will tell.
Chapter 3-The gauntlet is thrown is now up and ready to be read...How sadistic can the princess of redemption get in order to redeem 5...stubborn souls? The answer is, as much as she has to, and no pony will stop her.

sombra is unconfirmed...for all we know he simply decided to leave unnoticed. He did be shown to have the powers to turn to smoke, to walk through literally any hint of a shadow. As for stormking...again it is assumed. Just because a statue shattered at the end? Wouldn't be the first time a villian used a decoy at an improbable time. My story is playing off the idea they did indeed survive. After all magic is just that, unexplained until it is explained and clarified.
Chapter 4- A Switch Is Flipped is now up and ready to be read. Just what is this emotion tirek is feeling..it's strange and alien. Just how does Starshine plan to convince him to see the error of his ways?
Speaking of strange...hazel seems a bit off...weird..I'm sure it's nothing.

One thing that made me curious, is from the look of things, Hazel isn't interested in redemption since she 'promised' Chrysalis to not show her achilies's heel of a past? What even Chrysalis promised her to make Hazel not show her past?

Chrysalis's pain comes back to haunt her as her past is brought to life. She seemed so happy back then...and with sombra by her side perhaps she can learn what really happened. However, one question remains...Why is Starshine so agitated at the entire thing?
