Emile Dumont was a Lieutenant in the 30th Crystal Chasseurs his nickname is El Padre (The father) he led his squad through the battles of 1915-1918 earning the Croix de Crystal .pink Heart of Courage and Legion of Honor in 1917 during the attack on the Dahlia Hawthrone line part of the Nivelle offensive he was wounded and save by his Sargent Rene Apple when the crystal army mutinies started he was ordered to disarm the units that mutinied for the rest of 1917 the 30th Crystal Chasseurs was sent back home to refit and retrained in 1918 he and the squad show their metal during the spring offensive by the end of the end he was promoted to captain after the war he married my godmother sonata and had four children retired from the military to teach at the Lansdale cadet school teaching future cadets in military tactics and leadership
