Because, hey, why not!

Anyway, my pony pen name is Midday Shine. The reasons for this choice are quite simple, really. One, I was born just 1-2 hours shy of actual midday. Two, this part of day is when I usually am at my prettiest, most brilliant self – in short, when I shine. Plus, my favorite character from the show is Celestia, closely followed by Twilight (whom I resemble a bit, personality-wise); and what better way to tribute the two than picking a name relating to both? ;)

My current avatar is a clipped version of a drawing by Lailyren, created for Equestria Times – the Polish pony fanzine we both are a part of.

Though I'm not a veteran MLP author, I do have some fic-writing experience, which I've gained in the Scooby-Doo fandom (as VerMa). However, as of now, I do not have any plans for a crossover of the two.

Since I'm not a native English speaker, I may mess up the grammar, spelling, punctuation or something else every now and then. Constructive criticism is then much welcome, as long as it's phrased calmly and politely. I might be old-fashioned, but name-calling and swearing in a review/comment are a big no-no in my book.
