I am writing in earnest again, a short fic about Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich and marital bliss.

So, I've been seeking out Christmas music lately to revel in the season as it seems to fast be slipping by, and I have noticed that it is difficult for me to find traditional carols. I know they exist, and I have found many, but every time I find a playlist on YouTube or wherever, it just seems way shorter than it should be. I mean, aren't there like thousands of traditional carols? Did it just seem like there were a lot more when I was a kid?

Sometimes the dumbest things make me laugh, and the following tale is a fine example...

“My mother would tell me every night to not mess with the peach cobbler in the kitchen. But I would wait up until she went to bed, and I would poke my head into the kitchen, stare at the peach cobbler and begin mocking. ‘Stupid cobbler,’ I would say, ‘nobody’s going to buy your stupid peach shoes.’ But on he worked, undeterred by my nightly insults.”

I for one have been enjoying the cooler weather! It's just really great to walk outside and not feel as if you will burst into flames as soon as the sunlight hits you. We've had a bit of rain, but so far the really bad hurricanes and stuff have steered clear of us, but I do know people who have been impacted by them.

Can’t talk right now, busy writing!

But I wanted to say that in case you hadn’t noticed, The Friendship Initiative is now live with new chapters going up about every other day!

So, the deviations that I ended up with had made some of my storylines potentially really far removed from the canon of MLP:FIM. I am glad that people don’t seem to mind that, but I have tried to stay as close to the source as I can with what I’m doing.

But since the changelings hadn’t been reformed with a friendship love bomb, and one of the things I dealt with was how a changeling reformation might look... this is where I have ended up.
