So, first off, I apologize for the lack of chapters lately. But that does have to do with the next bit: I spent the last two months prepping for, and then doing, NaNoWriMo this year.

For those who don't already know what that is, it's National Novel Writing Month, and it's basically the writer's version of inktober. You have a month to write 50,000 words of a new writing project.

So, I'm currently housesitting until January 9th. This obviously means that I'm going to be away from my keyboard and am stuck typing either on my phone (which is painfull) or using my laptop.

Said laptop keeps crashing on me.

I am still going to try and get something out soon, but it might have to wait until I get home to post.

Either way, I hope you all had/have a wonderful holiday and I will see you all mext decade.

After about three or four months, two breaking down cars, and a job change, my landlord and I finally got our internet back. (Yay!)

Hopefully, we will be able to keep it for a full year this time...

Anyways, some editing is being done, and new chapters for both Equestrian Eeveelution and Can You Hear the Drums are in the works and should be up soon.

As you may have guessed by the title of this blog post, there will be a short break in my chapter schedule. Somehow, my roommates have already gone over on data this month, and my internet will be cut off in a few minutes.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to finish off the chapter that I was working on before then.

That said, there will be a chapter ready to go within the first week of December.

So, I know that you guys know about my inconsistent update schedule, but I still feel I should let people know about any upcoming delays.

On that note, I will be in Toronto for Fan Expo, which takes place at the end of August / beginning of September. I won't be there as a panelist, or as any official part of the Con. I'm just going as a normal con-goer. I only wanted to tell you guys because I won't be bringing my laptop, so I won't be able to upload new chapters.

As the blog title says, I am sorry for the delay. I don't know if it's cabin fever or seasonal writer's block, but I've noticed that my writing slows to a crawl around this time of year.

I'm still writing EE, and another two story ideas are percolating in the back of mind, but I don't find the drive to write when I sit down at my computer. When I'm at work or out of the house, the drive's there, but not when I sit down to actually write.
