Oh man... "Direct hot-line to Celestia herself" indeed!
Oh man... "Direct hot-line to Celestia herself" indeed!
Also great job! :D
Spike, You are legendary.
I happened to enjoy the story quite a lot. Deserves more attention. 5 Stars.
That was a great story! I'm surprised it isn't more popular. The bit with Celestia showing up at the end to deal with her snob of a nephew was perfect! Exactly what I was hoping would happen. Great job.
Those last few lines of Spike's were great!
Especially the "You ponies can't always be as clever as me", I bet it's not often he gets to say that to Twilight! (Apart from common sense, he has the lions share of it in that library...)
I can honestly say this is worthy of getting on the show. It has no themes the show wouldn't have, and it has more character development on a someone that, to be frank, has not nearly enough screen time considering that he is of royal lineage.
Have a couple mustaches.
Eh, I didn't really like the ending. It's like "Hey, guess what? I was being a jackass the entire time!" It felt a little shoehorned in, like you painted yourself into a corner, since it looked like Blueblood was actually going to win. I don't think even Blueblood would be petty enough to travel all the way to Ponyville and jump through all these metaphorical hoops just to prove to whoever that HE dumped Rarity, not the other way around. He's a freaking prince! He could have anypony, really. But he's stuck on showing Rarity up, apparently.
This story was pretty impressive. I loved how you repeat the last phrase of one portion in the first phrase of another. That's nice wordplay there.
OMG I love it
I can really see this as an early season 2 episode before "Secret of my Excess".
This could make a good episode about how some people don't always use their second chance wisely. We just had one about how some won't even take that chance. (Chrysy for Evil Queen of the Year!)
