Thank you both for your comments. I really appreciate your feedback. This was just a filler piece I wrote. The real story I'm working on is Sparkle No More, which is written a hell of a lot better than this, if you care to read what I've done so far.

I was for a little while considering leaving that as the comment, because, reading this left me with a smile.
Though, I feel like I could expand on this a bit.
The writing was good, and your approach on, hm, the "Human finds pony"-genre was interesting - especially with that intro.
Reading the intro of thoughts on afterlife was interesting, and how you wove that in into the story was a nice read. The story itself might have been a bit fast-paced, but surely enjoyable.
Though, actually, one line alone made me sure that I can fave this without second guessing myself.

That line, after reading that intro, or call it foreshadowing, or something else, made me stop a little and think of what just happened. Either because I'm kinda tired, or because I wasn't expecting that to happen at all. I'd think it leans towards the latter mentioned reason.
Though, having this end as it did, and begin as it did, really, just:

I'm glad you liked my approach to this subject. I will agree it is a bit rushed, but I wasn't trying to make an amazing story. I just wanted to write something because of the dream I had, and eventually the whole heart foreshadowing came in and I realized. "I could vary a bit from the dream and have some fun with this story." and then this happened. I didn't spend a whole lot of time editing this piece. It was really more for fun and because I felt like writing my dream down.
I have Favorited both sparkle no more and this without a second thought, you are among my favourite writers not only on Fimfiction, but in the world.
