Why find Starlight anyway?
I'm partway through chapter one and I'm surprised this isn't more popular; the prose is good, the human characters we're working with are a dynamic I don't think I've seen before, the POV character is a cynical git without being overbearing. This is a really good start!

Wow, what the hell? They drag this guy to another world, with some 4 year old innocent bystanders, to fight under their banner, and they won't give him a goddamn aspirin?
This should have had more views it's better than a lot of fan fics out there for certain.

They magically bound him to something before explaining what was going to happen? That tracks for Celestia, but I expect better from Luna.
