Am I wrong for reading this in (toxic) ricks voice
I feel like this story is abit too generic/cliche, which isn't always a bad thing. I mean the story sets up this guy to not like this girl because of what she does around the school. After being paired with her, she immediately tries to get in his pants, to which he doesn't like. Later, Trixie tries to make him jealous and break his focus for studying (while I wouldn't have handled the situation like he did) at the very least he gave a reasonable reaction, only to be brow-beaten/ threatened by Starlight who expositions that its Trixie's way of saying she likes him, which (imo) doesn't exactly mean that she's justified for her actions. But for the sake of the story he apologizes andjust instantly starts to like her and after studying, they screw. There was no actual growth between the two and so the romance just seems slightly artificial. This is similar to Kingdom Hearts, only no ice cream, friendship is replaced with highschool drama/romance
Ik this is a one-shot, but the critique in me just wished for better. I'm not trying to dis you or say it's terrible, because all in all it was a decent story. I just wish it didn't seem so forced
