And this time, he is not alone. As a mysterious black unicorn named Dark Star arrives alongside him...
Twilight Sparkle, the princesses, and Twilight's friends will encounter foes from the past, And Dark Star may not be what he seems to be... his powers rival Celestia and Luna in terms of power.
This Story has many different ideas being presented at once. It's main moral is "Anypony can change if they try. It doesn't matter who they are."
There will be action, some romance, a little drama, and a lot of characters that will be introduced. Including a few new ones I created for both sides. Enjoy!

Yeah I know... I made Burning Star out to be this character that is incredibly dangerous both physically and psychologically.
Btw, that Song that Burning Star was singing is "I am All of Me" by Crush40, it is the opening theme to the game Shadow The Hedgehog
In fact, Burning Star was heavily based on Shadow's personality and his visual design as well. His color scheme is black, red and orange, and he has a wild, unkept mane.
Burning Star's mention of King Sombra's ruthless training shows that he harbors a deep seated grudge for King Sombra betraying him. It's actually kind of paints him more like a tragic rival to Twilight Sparkle
It's very clear that Burning Star was crushed by King Sombra preferring Twilight over him.

You are quite right, pal. But Burning Star's training was more focused on combat and survival, so you can understand why he feels superior to Twilight.
This was one of my favorite chapters to write, mainly because I love the concept of Scootaloo being able to fly.
Also, If any of you are reading this and think that the Main Six are being too accepting of Burning Star, he is pretty much a walking inferno with a very short temper and a very big grudge against the princesses.
Now tell me... do you really want to annoy that type of pony?
