After an ancient ruin is uncovered, and its finders missing, it is up to the Elements of Harmony to answer the mystery of the ruin's history. Or else they may fall to the same mistake again.

I love all things Endzone/Castle of Nations/Law of Talos/Escape/Ect. and I am so happy to see you making this Fic. Karl is- well, I can't think of any fanfiction on this site with him in it. He will be a refreshing breath in the 'the villain visits Equestria trope.'
On the story itself the writing is excellent. Pacing, form, grammar, ect. I can say I am very impressed with your talents. Cannot wait for the next chapter.

Climber....? The thing Celestia found? I'm not so sure that was him as it said the his colour was that of dull blue, climbers clothes are black (or grey) as far as I'm aware. Also, good job on finally updating this story Wizard! Keep it up! Man....this makes me wonder what a Karl vs Red (endzone) would be like....oh well!

These were the honest thoughts going through my head as I read this. You do such an amazing job with Karl's character, he was absolutely sinister despite being utterly calm and happy. Hell, I'd even say you got his character better than his own creator did.

When Spike asked Karl if he was a pirate I was totally like, "oh crap, you screwed up now." I'm not surprised that Fluttershy made friends with Karl, who can't become friends with that little Pegasus. She might be the best chance at saving Karl from himself, besides Pinkie Pie.
