So was it really necessary to dedicate an entire chapter just to torturing Flash?
Also, how convenient that the one who gets torturored is the character everyone hates for no good reason.
The fact that I was able to guess it was him before his name was mentioned makes it especially annoying, it shows just how predictable this Flash-hate is.
6843852 I just feel like very little was accomplished in this chapter and it was just an excuse for the author to simply torture a minor character for no other reason than "waifu-stealer must die".
Let me ask you; Aside from the scene with the royal sisters, what was accomplished in this chapter?
If you're going to get a dedicate an entire chapter to torturing a character at least give it a point, she could've been trying to get info out of him on other rebellion or something, but instead it feels like the author was just making an unfairly disliked character suffer just for the hell of it.
6843975 Still doesn't change the fact that the scene was a overall pointless and literally accomplished nothing. No foreshadowing or anything, just torture for the sake of the fact that he hates him.
6843818 dude chill it was a joke. the reason most people hate him is because he has no character and was pretty much only used so twilight could crush on somebody in the movies. i dont really care
6845662 Sorry if I got a little too defensive there, but it just bugs me that we come from a fandom where we can take a character that sits differently and make her into a human obsessed nut, a character with an animation error on her eyes and make her into a muffin obsessed ditz, a DJ that had less than two seconds of screentime and make her a party animal that's dating that one mare from the gala episode, or that one gaming colt that had us to second cameo and make him Sweetie Belle's love intrest.
And yet when one character pops up and ends up being the object of the main characters affections he suddenly "bland" and the bane of the fandom's existence?! The fact that no one even tries to give him a personality like we've done with every other background character in the series is what pisses me off.
Flash-hate is pointless, hypocritical, and just plain STUPID.
Again the night bitch was about to jump. Sunbutt intervened again but putting her hoof out in front of her sister. An obvious nodded ‘no’ and a moment to calm down was enough to subdue her. Celestia looked back to me.
“Interesting,” Sombra walks up next to me, “I thought for sure you would take her side.”
“Why would you think that?”
“She was your former mentor and mother figure.”
“Former. Presently, you are my king and husband. My allegiance is to you, not to a failed princess.”
Um, what? No, seriously, WHAT? Twilight fears for Celestia and Luna's lives at the beginning of the fic but cares so little about them now that she's willing to think of them as night bitch and sunbutt?
well flash sentry is completely useless anyway

Cleaning up for her afterwards? It's like he does care.

Well, I did leave a note in the author notes down below that should make any feelings rather clear.
The scene with the sister will have more meaning in the next chapter.
Flash sentry can suffer eternal torment in the void between dimensions.
That is Our feelings towards FlashLight
