This story is a sequel to Dimension Jumper

Justin was just a simple technician at ARCO, but he fell in love with a down on her luck dimension jumper the first time he saw her. Now she's gone missing, and it doesn't look like ARCO is really doing their best to find her.

Still, he has access to all the data, all of ARCO's tech, even the powerful conversion pods. He could fairly easily get his hands on some of the companions ARCO outfits it's jumpers with. He knows that, given just a little bit of time, he could rescue Sarah and be the hero he's always wanted to be.

It would help if he copied the world ID number down correctly though...

Features R63d Equestria.

This guy is remarkably understanding.

If they had drugged me and stuffed me in a cage...

There'd be some ponies with broken bones now yeah.

5227998 He's had a couple of days to calm down

will he try to find sarah by artifact or magic later on? that is his goal.

5229247 I hope he find her...

"A mint green unicorn stallion and a white stallion that looked like Little White all grown up but without a horn introduced themselves and were generally pleasant."

Lyra and Bon Bon's counterparts. Hmmm, I wonder if they're into threesomes... Maybe he'll get lucky and they will be now.^_^

Pretty interesting so far.

Oh thought I should point out that in a couple spots the gender pronouns are wrong for the mane six. It says "she" instead of "he". Sorry I can't quote the lines, I'm on my phone and copy pasting is wonky.

7725675 Oh gods if I had the time to write and finish this I would. I'm so tempted to eschew my beta reader and just dump stuff out but if I've learned one thing from Dimension Jumper it's that a good editor willing to read your work and point out flaws beforehand is worth their weight in platinum.

"Until it stops acting like a wild animal, we'll have to treat it like one," Dusk said

Justin literally just gone done trying to communicate and waving, lockpicking his cage, escaping, getting pancakes, doing the dishes, and then teaching you how to lockpick. I don't think that's anything close to wild animal behavior. But okay Dusk, you can hold the idiot ball.
(I know this is in reference to him smashing the lock on his cage, but come on Dusk :ajbemused:)

7841793 Well someone has to hold it! But thanks for pointing that out, I'll try and work out a re-write to make it more plausible. Probably something along the lines of wanting to contain an unknown.

Apologies to you both, but I'm hindered by a lack of a beta reader at the moment. I'll consider releasing unedited chapters but things might be stepped back or completely rewritten later.

You forgot to mention me as doing some editing...

Added it to the title card. Do you want chapter by chapter credit as well or is that good?

Welp, there he goes. I hope he gets his companions, cause that was one of my favorite parts of the original story.

I’m very glad this story is getting updated again.

From Futurama. Hermes is a businessman who is all about business; with him there are forms to fill to request requests.

There are parts of this I like, but others are aggravatingly stupid. Two examples are Justin's complete failure to point the finger at the princess since she invited him and then left the restaurant without paying and when he was splashed with water by the diplomats which is both an annoying repeat of something we've seen a bunch of times already and hard to imagine him doing since he has no way of knowing what could cause offense.

Honestly both his story and the prior one have points that fall very hard into the "Aggressively stupid" range, I keep meaning to rework them but I've just never gotten around to it. With a 1 year old now I don't know if I ever will or will ever finish

That's fair, life is definitely a thing and pony stuff going downhill adds a push factor to boot.

As for the other story, its problems seemed to have more to do with a lack of planning and poor transitions resulting in jarring shifts in the story, although there were definitely a few points where the idiot ball was in play.
