Yes, for the first time ever here on FiMFiction, I'll be participating in an event.
Yes, for the first time ever here on FiMFiction, I'll be participating in an event.
I enjoyed participating in Jinglemas, probably because I drew characters that I was able to write a not-horrible story with. (I saw the combinations other authors received. I don't know what I would have done with some of those.)
So sign up for this year's Jinglemas, and get in on the fictional secret Santa... well, the secret Santa bit is real, but it's exchanging fiction, and....
JUST GO SIGN UP IF YOU WANT SOMEBODY TO WRITE YOU A STORY AND YOU'RE WILLING TO WRITE ONE BACK, OKAY?! Shakes does a much better job of explaining this than a decaffeinated me does. Or a caffeinated one, frankly.
Hey everybody. I know I've been pretty inconsistent the last few months, but I wanted to let you in on something I'll definitely be doing. Jinglemas, the Secret Santa story-swap contest, is coming up, and I have enrolled to participate. I've been doing this contest ever since 2018, and it's a lot of fun to do. I'd highly recommend you check out the rules here and sign up if you'd like to give and receive
There's truly no time like the holidays. What's better than copious amounts of food, quality time with family and friends, hearing the sweet sound of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' on repeat, and unmanaged financial stress from our capitalist overlords?
Gift exchanges of course!

Seriously, if Jinglemas will accept me then obviously anypony can get in. Can't you imagine Shakespearacles's head exploding if every active account on FIMship Is Magic were to join in? The more, the merrier!
Do it.
P.S. Do you think he's related to Trogdor? I mean, lookit that arm!

Do you like Secret Santa exchanges? Do you like stories? Do you wish there was a way to combine the two into some sort of abominable Frankenstein amalgamation of a holiday season tradition? Well, there is!
and Merry Jinglemas!
I requested a story about how Twilight's Ponyville friends celebrated the holiday the year before she arrived.
FanOfMostEverything wrote for me:
Go give it a read!

It's a WONDERFUL project that writers do every year, and I love it lots. even if I'm not a part of it this year. So happy holidays, hope this helps you jingle your bells.
(hopefully it stays up now so I can post this blog!)

Well an, almost-new Chrisfic, if you read it during the past week or so, while it was part of the Jinglemas post.
Anyway, yes, I just published my Secret Santa entry as its own piece:
That's right! It's time for Jinglemas! For those of you new to Fimfic (or simply aren't familiar with it), Jinglemas is our annual secret-santa-story-exchange event where we write stories for each other as gifts. If you'd like to join, go to the link above to check out the rules of the event.
See you there!

Greetings!
It's almost the end of 2022. As such, it's time for the annual Jingelmas!
Kalashy, muh boi, wutz Jinglemas?
JInglemas is a fic secret santa program. Just contact Shakespearicles by November 24 (so do it soon) stating three things:
1. The sort of story you're hoping to get -- tags, characters, premise
So Jinglemas is a thing, I've seen it before, but this is the first time I'm participating in it. The concept is great, think of a small prompt to request, submit it, then somebody else will write it for you, while you write somebody else's. Around Christmas day, the stories are exchanged and posted as a sort of secret santa. All in all it sounds really fun, and I hope it will be great this year, from what I've heard, the more writers, the merrier. As long as you feel confident writing at least
