My glasses kinda... exploded on my face. While I was wearing them.
Not like as in the glass shattered, but the frame just kinda... fell to pieces.
My friend told me that glasses from Costco weren't all that great. Now I know why.
At least I have a backup pair. And my old glasses that are all scratched up but are still surprisingly in one piece.
No doubt you need to care for several factors while purchasing new pair of Z87 safety glasses. Let's talk about style, you choose one standard or wraparound with a perfect fit. Then you come on the lens shape whether you need regular lenses or polarized lenses for removing glare. Some safety glasses come with soft pads with lenses that rest on your face and block all debris into your eyes.
I wrote a new scene to Looking Glass. Why did I do this, it's been finished for years...
So lately I've seen a few people do blog posts about glasses. And I was wondering how old you guys were when you started wearing them? Personally I was 6/7 when I started and have to get a new pair every year, because my prescription gets weak and gives me headaches. . Also where can I get a pair like human twilights? (No judging please)
Thank you to everyone who donated to my go fund me or even just gave me good wishes cause it worked I now have new glasses! My eye doctor actually said it was a really good thing I came in because of how bad my left eye was getting! Anyway I couldn't resist I got Sci Twi glasses pic below the break.
I had to. There really similar to my old pair, but more sci-twi(y). I can see again
First off, thanks to AShadowOfCygnus, MSPiper, and metallusionismagic. for pre-reading!
Hey, so I've got this story idea but I'm unsure if I should write it. Lemme know what y'all think.
So I mentioned my next art would probably be by Verumtee. Well, she's working on it, but in the meantime, another friend swung in with some amazing art!
I can't even call them glasses. They take up half my face and the lenses are half an inch thick. So I just call them "a two-litre Coke bottle with handlebars".
Ugh.
So I figured out what scenes to illustrate in Looking Glass! Click the read more to see which scenes I'm going to illustrate, and don't click the read more if you want to be surprised when reading the book lol
"By the light of the stars in the desolate dark, an island once sat in the sky;
And amidst sand and shale was a flower of glass, that once caught a spark by the eye.
And the spark said 'sweet bloom, I shall grant you a boon lest you perish amidst blighted loam;'
'If your lips have ne'er been kindly kissed by the green, then amidst it I'll grant you a home.'
And so the spark gave it a home."
"And the flower grew tall, and it glittered and gleamed, and its brilliance surpassed the light;
Long Time no see.
For anyone who is interested, I just posted the sequel to "My Life is a glass".
I haven't written for a long time and will use this story to get back into things. The story consists of smaller Slice of life chapters after the first story with varying subjects.
I would love to hear feedback from some of you that liked my first story.
Best regards
Bob Alcove
To try to put a film as purely visual as Koyaanisqatsi into words is an incredibly difficult task. This film exists on it's own plain of existence, and within it's own universe, conforming to neither documentary or narrative film, but rather it's own, borderline spiritual and meditative experience wholly unlike any other.
I'm sure you're all sick of seeing blogs that start with these words, but it's the year 2020 — and I have no idea what successful ponyfiction looks like anymore.
Because 1) somebody was bugging me about it, 2) it was ready to go once I got around to getting off my butt and applying edits and 3) stating that I am totally working on stuff, you guys, seriously rings hollow if I don't put out an update every now and then.
Hopefully it'll draw my proofreaders' attention and get them to go through the next chapter ...
So that was a hell of an announcement the other day, huh? Those interested in the Looking Glass print edition might be wondering how my decision to end the series affects the plans for that. Well, it doesn't, the print edition is still happening, and I got another pic for it done!
