I mean, that's really all there is to it.
Let's be honest.

Now that I think about it, I must be insane. I do the exact same things over and over again and expect different result. I always thought I was just optimistic. That, or I'm just incredibly stupid.
I can't sleep. I knew this would happen but I came here anyway.
Uh, hypothetically speaking if both Cadance and Celestia were to hear a pretty depressing story out of earshot, but didn't want to startle a rather powerful pony into attacking, who would lose their cool the quickest to deliver an emergency hug/snuggle/nuzzle?
Now I ain't no racist, or speciesist, but I think keeping those letherwings and chitanbacks away from the rest is the best course of action
People often yak at me
"Try better yourself"
"Grow up"
"Improve"
They say all that, but they don't provide actual definitions or explanations of what they mean by all that. It's like I'm supposed to guess what they want.
The same thing follows with fiction, when people whine and complain.
"This sucks"
"Write them In character"
But again, no proper definition or explanation to back it up or make it clear.
Have you guys heard?

Not out yet, but soon. Look for Age of Empires Definitive Edition on Microsoft Store when it's up.

Beep beep bye mother fucker
ONE OF THESE DAYS SHE WILL KILL ME

Pony-MeTM is story #392929.
Wow, ain't that somethin'.
This might not be worthy of a blog. Okay, well, it might be. I just wanted everyone to know my displeasure with a certain... thing I've seen cropping up in people's writing.
Jason hummed. "Well, I guess things couldn't possibly get any worse."
Or,
"Hmm, well, I guess things couldn't possibly get any worse," Jason said.
Which one of those two sentences do you think flows better?
Sometimes I post things and wonder: is the message merely the sum total of the words on the page? Is there purpose to it, or do I merely assemble stock phrases and cliché to fling uselessly at a world that has long since moved on to the next big thing?
What am I dreaming about?

I could, quite literally, just sit and stare at this for hours.
They're both just...so happy.
And they're spinning.
On little chairs.
Ack. Best get back to reading them fics.
Good morrow fellow scribes!
If you have read my story, The Magician's Gift, you will know that I have written it, to the best of my ability, in archaic English. If you are not familiar with archaic English (like me!), I have provided the definitions of the terms I used in the story. Get them below the fold.
(Loosely inspired by this: Sparkle-Date Me .)
sparkle (n.): the unit of magical potency; devised in 60 Y.H. by Star Sparkle of House Twinkle, whose work with the Royal College in recovering the arcane knowledge lost during the Discordant Era and in laying the groundwork for the modern scientific conception of magic is well known and discussed extensively elsewhere.
Cozy Glow is the Storm King reborn.
That's why she's so obsessed with getting control of a bunch of followers and taking over everything, she's just continuing from where she left off. Same reason she wants to be Queen, she's just getting her title back (adjusted to fit her new body).
