My name is Aedan and I'm your average run-of-the-mill guy from Missouri. I served in the Marine Corps for about four years, now I've been out for a year and I'm making a living on the edge of St. Louis. It's not the best of conditions for a guy like me to have to deal with, but I adapt and overcome. This is the 8th part to the series and also the shortest... I hate long endings.

This part takes place right after the main characters failed spell. To those who have read the others congrats everything in this part should hit home and I feel it is one of the better parts despite being short. To those who have never read any of the other stories I suggest DO NOT READ THIS ONE FIRST.

This is the 5th story to the "Maybe" series I suggest reading the fist few if you want a better understanding of this one.

For the returning readers I hope you enjoy this part to the story, I have made it a bit longer because of popular request as a result there is a bit more slice of life. This story is a sequel to The Land Before Us

What the story is about

The story it's self is based on events after MLP FIM season 2, the story takes place in Equestria and on our Earth ( well an earth with no knowledge of MLP FIM ). 2nd fic person view of the college student in a normal day until Twilight's failed teleporting spell leaves her stuck in another world. At least until she finds a new kind of magic from the human world, but nothing in their lives will every be the same...

This is the first story in the "Maybe" series, think of each story as a chapter to a larger plot the description doesn't do the plot justice, because each story is a small part of the real story it's better just to read it and let the plot get thicker as you progress.

The new land of Equestria has been founded, but real peace still lays just out of hoof's reach for the ponies that inhabit this new world. However hope still clings to the land with the Crystal Empire's examples of unity, all that's needed now is push in the right direction from one of the three factions. But the ideas of old may proof to be little more then a bump in the path for King Sombra as the greatest power in the Crystal Empire begins to turn on it's own master.
