Tell Your Tale: A Swing and a Misty

    My inner shipper is squealing.

If you've wanted Alphabittle, Haven, and their respective kids to become a new family unit, this episode is for you.

Did anyone actually ask for this?

So apparently Playtonic is remastering Yooka-Laylee.

Who asked for this? Who thought this was a good idea?

    A few things, Playtonic:

    1. This game is only seven years old.

Will try and get an update or two out soon, but...

...These next two weeks at work are going to be stressful as hell.

I just have to say one thing, just to get it off my chest.

If any of my readers are private health inspectors with standards higher than local laws, I just have this to say:

    That is all.

    Good night.

    Tell Your Tale: P + P = BFFs

This week, we've got a... Somewhat touching Posey episode?

Think this would benefit from a longer runtime. I also laughed harder than necessary at Izzy in the very beginning.

Back Home! · 6:44pm Sep 21st, 2022

Returned home from vacation safely.

Photo dump coming soon, likely in multiple blog entries, curated from a total of 633 photos taken over two-and-a-half days.

That certainly wouldn't have been possible without the most unexpected find upon first getting to the campground:

A Nikon 5600 DSLR camera, with a 18-140mm lens, seemingly left behind on a picnic table after someone packed up and departed. The battery was full, and there was a memory card inside. No one else was close by, no one else returned to ask about it, and no identifying info was on the memory card.

So I removed the memory card and lens (for safekeeping in case someone showed up for it) and put in my own card and lens to practice what I've been wanting to for a couple of years; shooting with two camera bodies, not having to constantly switch lenses when I go from wildlife photography to scenery.

So this is easily over $1k I've added to my photography kit by the craziest and luckiest of circumstances (My camera is a Nikon D3300, so everything was compatible with what I had already brought along).

Welcome back!

Hope you had a wonderful vacation!

Feel sad for the dude who forgotten the camera on the picnic table, a 1k isn't cheap either.

Yeah. The timing couldn't have been better on my part. I'm sure someone else would have taken it, or it would have eventually been damaged by the elements, or by wildlife (bison roam freely through the campground and surrounding wilderness area, and frequently scratch and rub themselves on the picnic tables, parking posts, and half-gazebos).

That's a lucky break. 🍀

Woah, that is crazy lucky!!
