    Kind Request

Hello, dear writers. As you all may have noticed, I've recently published a small one-shot entitled Tea Addict just before my school started, at which point I will be busy with work. As such, I would like to request some help in editing the fic, dealing specifically with the imagery, language, and construction of the writing. All help is welcomed, big or small.

    Change of plans (again)

You know what, forget about the sequel to Diary of a Young Griff. I'm just glad it did its thing and ppl liked it.

I'm just gonna write whatever idea comes to mind. My only hope is that you all will enjoy it and find not just entertainment, but hope, in my stories, which is something I'd like to give to my readers.

    Sooo......what's next?

    Calling for Editors/Pre-readers

Whoop, I haven't written a blog post for some time, so now's a good time to do so. I'm still alive and around, dw.

I started a new story entitled My Brush is Finer than My Sword. Teen-rated, Adventure, and Violence. Not a sequel to Diary of a Young Griff.

Just some self-doubt · 1:09pm Apr 14th, 2022

Did I release the sequel too quickly?

I admit, I was excited after seeing the success of DoaYG, and with the idea still fresh in my mind I thought writing a sequel would be alright, since some readers also wanted to see how Matilda would go on.

But now, I'm just thinking to myself, was I too hasty?

I just want to know your thoughts.

I think it's tough to decide when the best time to publish is. Too soon and people may be burnt out on the story, too late and the hype could die. The best way to judge will be how your audience reacts.

Well, why not. If you have ideas, continue immediately. You are not writing massive chapters of 20k words so you can update quite regulary. And - honestly - if you have a story which is hot, getting the sequel out fairly fast is good! This way your momentum won´t cool down, your fans won´t forget about what happened.
